Spontaneous Productions Presents: A Bold Immersive Adaptation of Orwell’s 1984 – Celebrating 40 Years of a Chilling Vision of the Future

In honour of the 40th anniversary of this iconic and unsettling date, Spontaneous Productions is excited to unveil its most innovative event yet: an immersive adaptation of George Orwell’s dystopian masterpiece, 1984. Audiences are invited to step into the ominous world of Airstrip One, where they will be closely monitored by Big Brother’s ever-watchful telescreens and guided by the Thought Police through a haunting, interactive experience.

Join Winston Smith, a troubled member of the Party, as he begins to question the purpose of his work at the Ministry of Truth. As he embarks on a forbidden love affair with Julia, a member of the Anti-Sex League, he soon finds himself drawn deeper into a dangerous world of betrayal, secrets, and control.

What is the chilling mystery behind Room 101, and will Winston ever learn to truly love Big Brother?

The Spontaneous take on this classic will be accompanied by a classic 1980s soundtrack , with interactive scenes from Orwell’s novel unfolding across multiple locations. Throughout the experience, attendees will be under constant surveillance by telescreens, and the Thought Police will ensure strict compliance.

This highly immersive and gripping production promises a thought-provoking and sometimes unsettling journey into Orwell’s vision. Please note: the installation will accommodate up to thirty guests at a time and the event is not suitable for young children, and parental discretion is advised for those considering bringing children.
