Ritualistic experimental pop from Japanese-American multidisciplinary artist, musician, and co-founder of Diasporas Now. Echoing, incantation-like vocals over electronic and club rhythms; drawing on Japanese folk lullabies, heavy metal, and rave culture alike.
REMOTE VIEWING
Noise-rock, hardcore, post-rock, shoegaze from folks from Abjure, Palehorse, Million Dead, and Sly & The Family Drone. Heavy riffs, with hearty nods to Art of Burning Water, Knut and Curl Up And Die.
3D JESUS
Post-rock with well-considered free improvisations, that recall the expansive experimentalism of Constellation Records‘ more raucous moments, and the raw intimacy and post-folk of Pygmy Lush. Debut full length, Roadside Shrines, might even be out by this gig. But don’t count on it.
