Sense: The Anatomy of Creativity (at the Hunterian Museum)

An evening of conversation, music and creative exploration at the Hunterian Museum, hosted by neuroscientist and comedian Professor Sophie Scott CBE with: visual artist Annie Cattrell; consultant neurosurgeon, Grainne McKenna and musician and voice coach Christine Kydd, who has taught herself to sing again following major surgery to treat cancer.

Expert perspectives on how anatomy shapes creativity, followed by a short performance by Christine.

Sense by Annie Cattrell shown in the header of this post, is on permanent public display at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, purchased through grants from the Art Fund and Arts Council England: V&A Purchase Grant Fund and National Lottery.

5.30- 6.45pm: Special late access to the Hunterian Museum and Insight: Portraits of Women in Surgery for all ticketholders

7.00 – 8.30pm: Panel discussion and musical performance
