Live acoustic music concert featuring world music and ancient poetry set to contemporary music by the London Chinese Chamber Ensemble.
Tickets are low cost at £6 to welcome in The Wandsworth Arts Festival 2025 – borough of culture. This is our final concert of this series coinciding with the UNESCO Arts Heritage weekend. Following the concert break, we host an informal seminar for audience members to get to know Chinese musical instruments. The lead of the Ensemble teaches the Erhu 2 string fiddle, and bamboo dizi flute for unemployed and retired newcomers looking to pick up and immerse themselves in learning a less commonly played instrument.
