Born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1993, Mariam won the 10th Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht in 2014, was a Rising Star of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) and a BBC Young Generation Artist between 2017-19.
After a one-off show with us in Leeds last year, she’s created a new programme featuring Liszt exclusively for this show, including Hungarian Rhapsody No. 13, Bénédiction de Dieu dans la Solitude, Après une lecture du Dante: Fantasia quasi Sonata, and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, alongside Chopin’s Andante spianato et grande polonaise brillante.
