DESCRIPTION:The UK’s largest open-air cinema announces its 2022 summer season with a new programme of outdoor screenings at stunning locations nationwide. \n\n\n\nSummer is just around the corner\, which means it’s time to gather friends and family to experience the magic of films al-fresco in a host of beautiful settings across the UK. \n\n\n\nThe Luna Cinema\, in partnership with Little Moons\, is back to celebrate its 15th consecutive year of open-air cinema with a brand-new programme that promises an epic summer of cinema under the stars. With over 150 screenings at more than 40 stunning locations\, including familiar favourites and brand-new venues\, tickets are on sale now – https://www.thelunacinema.com/cinema/. \n\n\n\nNew and exclusive locations in the 2022 summer season include the elegant country mansion Kingston Lacey situated in Dorset’s rural countryside\, the historic Lincoln’s Inn\, which is set in beautiful\, private grounds in Holborn\, Central London\, as well as the Trentham Estate in Staffordshire\, which is home to award-winning gardens and ancient woodland. These join existing Luna venues\, including the Sandringham Estate\, Hampton Court Palace\, Chatsworth House\, Alnwick Castle\, Longleat\, Leeds Castle\, Ascot Racecourse and Westminster Abbey\, to name a few! \n\n\n\nThe programme features a brand-new lineup of classic and new film favourites you may have missed in the cinema when they were initially released due to Covid. Back on the big screen as intended initially\, films include Oscar-winning West Side Story\, Belfast\, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Bond’s latest outing\, No Time To Die; classics include Pretty Woman and Moulin Rouge; as well as popular perennials such as Grease\, Ghostbusters and Harry Potter. \n\n\n\nCosy up with your plus-one for the evening on Luna’s brand-new Date Night Double Deckchair\, positioned prior to your arrival to ensure the perfect view. Audiences can also choose to upgrade their general admission ticket with an optional seated access to include the use of a Luna director’s chair\, or for the ultimate VIP experience\, guests can opt for the VIP Sofa\, which offers two people the chance to watch the film from luxury sofa seating with blankets\, heaters and a bottle of bubbly. \n\n\n\nA variety of delicious food partners will be present at all screenings and a full bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can also pre-order food and drink hampers when booking tickets via the website\, filled with tasty treats\, including Little Moons’ delicious mochi ice cream balls\, the perfect treat to snack on as you relax in the open air and soak up the atmosphere. Audiences are welcome to dig out their hampers and pack a picnic of their own (though bringing alcohol to the events is restricted). At Luna’s screenings\, both food and drink will be available to order using a handy “click and collect” service to avoid time spent queuing. \n\n\n\nHeadline partner for 2022\, the nation’s favourite mochi ice cream Little Moons\, is proud to partner with The Luna Cinema for the upcoming season. Their delicious ice cream treats will be available to give Luna audiences the perfect cinema snack this summer.
