This year is set to be bigger than ever\, with both Harlequins Men and Women playing a massive double header against Bristol Bears. \n \nThis will be the first time ever that the Club will hold a double header of this type at Big Game\, and with both teams renowned for their physical\, attacking style of play\, it promises to be a mouth-watering day of rugby spectacular entertainment for all the family. \n \nHead Coach Amy Turner commented on Harlequins Women’s addition to the event: “It’s great to confirm our double header against Bristol. Big Game is synonymous with the Harlequins’ name\, and I know the team is excited for the Women’s third consecutive year in such a huge moment for the Club.” \n \n“We couldn’t have asked for better opposition for this doubleheader. We are a team that values the Harlequins Way of playing and bringing a brand of rugby that both represents our DNA and entertains our supporters. Bristol also places huge value in their own attacking brand of rugby and will help make this Big Game a spectacle for all to enjoy.” \n \nTickets for the world’s biggest annual club rugby match are in hot demand\, with over 9\,000 already taken up by Season Ticket Members. The match is the penultimate round of the season\, and with both sides battling for places in the coveted top four play-off spots\, the game could be crucial.\nThe event themed the ‘Big Summer Kick-Off’ will feature festival-themed entertainment and activities across the day\, including a significant headline entertainment act. \nThe famous player ‘walkover’ will again enable local supporters to roar the team from The Stoop to Twickenham stadium. They will also get to welcome the return of the 2012 Premiership winning team\, ten years to the day of their famous triumph at Twickenham stadium.\nThere will also be the opportunity for local community rugby clubs and schools to get involved and play on the pitch at The Stoop\, Craneford Way and Twickenham Stadium on the day. \nHarlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple said: “We can’t wait to get back to Twickenham and play in front of our supporters and community again – it has undoubtedly proved a happy hunting ground for us recently\, and the advantage we get from being roared on by a packed house of Quins supporters cannot be underestimated. We have won 8 of our 11 matches at Twickenham in the last ten years and lost just once.\n“We have sold out every one of our Home Gallagher Premiership matches this season\, and we wanted to give the maximum number of supporters the chance to come along to see the match.” \nThe event will be themed as a summer festival with various activities for families and adults across the day – from The Stoop stadium to the Twickenham West Fan Village and then inside the stadium bowl.
