DESCRIPTION:Tango Taster! \n\n\n\nSaturday 1 October 2022 \n\n\n\nTime 2pm – 5pm \n\n\n\nA three hour workshop for absolute or recent beginners \n\n\n\nThis is the ideal (and really fun) way to start or consolidate learning Argentine tango\, focusing on the basic steps and good technique from the outset. \n\n\n\nNo partner required.. We will attempt to match equal numbers of leaders and followers and therefore pre-booking and payment is necessary to help us do this \n\n\n\nStandard £25 \n\n\n\nStudents £15 (please show valid ID when you arrive) \n\n\n\nIf you have any questions before you book\, then please call Simon who will be more than happy to help. \n\n\n\n07954 387 756 \n\n\n\nDuring the workshop we’ll be covering: \n\n\n\nWalkingCrossingOchosPivoting side stepsFloor movementOpening closing embraceChanges of face \n\n\n\nPlease arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on schedule. \n\n\n\nShoes and clothing \n\n\n\nShoes are the most important thing. You don’t need special dance shoes for the workshop but please wear something supportive with a smooth non-stick sole (such as leather or plastic but not trainers\, chunky boots or rubber soled footwear) as you’ll be pivoting on the ball of your foot and sliding the foot along the floor. With clothing\, just wear something comfortable and casual that you can move about in.
