DESCRIPTION:Star pianist Jeneba Kanneh-Mason performs music by Claude Debussy\, Franz Liszt\, Dmitri Shostakovich\, and Sergei Prokofiev in a secret Soho bar underneath Denmark Street. \n\n\n\nwhat are noisenights? \n\n\n\nnoisenights are our vision for the future of classical music: informal\, crowdfunded events featuring international soloists in bars\, converted warehouses\, and nightclubs. \n\n\n\nthe venue: \n\n\n\nThe Lower Third is a brand new grassroots live music space\, just off London’s historic Denmark Street. Under its previous guise as 12 Bar Club the venue was renowned for hosting early shows for acts who went on to reach stardom\, including Adele\, Regina Spektor and Jeff Buckley. \n\n\n\nThe venue reopened in 2022 as The Lower Third\, honouring the name of a former band of David Bowie – one of Denmark Street’s famous regulars. \n\n\n\nthe music: \n\n\n\nJeneba will showcase her favourite solo piano repertoire\, including Franz Liszt’s iconic Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2\, Sergei Prokofiev’s Sonata No. 7\, and pieces by Claude Debussy and Dmitri Shostakovich.
