DESCRIPTION:Westway Trust\, working in partnership with the clubs\, galleries\, street food vendors and subculture spaces across its 23-acre estate\, is excited to announce the return of its flagship summer music and arts festival. \nThe Portobello Summer Festival has seen the likes of Fabio & Grooverider\, Soul II Soul\, Audio Bullys and local hip-hop star and activist Lowkey perform to eclectic local\, national and global audiences\, creating a summer party atmosphere. \n  \n\n\n \n  \nWith the line-up soon to be announced\, 2019’s festival is set to be an equally genre-spanning affair\, encompassing R&B\, hip-hop\, funk\, disco\, house\, electronic\, jazz and more. The festival theme of ’local to global’ seeks to celebrate and emulate the area’s history of elevating local talent\, from music to fashion\, to world-renowned status. The theme is also reflected across the street food\, dance and other cultural offerings\, bringing the area’s unique qualities together on one amazing site.
