DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! The ‘My Cultural Style’ Children’s Fashion Show will take place at the Cultural Style Week London Expo on Saturday 18 May\, at the Mall Wood Green\, in the heart of North London. \nCultural Style Week is an exciting week-long event that promises to get everyone talking about culture. It’s that one week in the year when people from all backgrounds are encouraged to wear their heritage! From 21-27 May\, People from all over the world are encouraged to participate and take part wherever they are by proudly wearing their cultural styles across the week\, and sharing their pictures online with the tag #culturalstyleweek to connect and share with others. \nFor the ‘My Cultural Style Children’s Fashion Show’ we will use cultural fashion as a platform for engaging through diversity. Our focus this year is on fostering a greater sense of belonging for children from diaspora and refugee communities\, while celebrating the diversity that makes our world so special. Our young participants will take to the runway\, sharing their cultural clothing and talking about what it means to them. \nThere will also be cultural dance performances\, spoken word and more! Our shows are visually spectacular\, but also educational and empowering. Plus it’s lots of fun for everyone taking part. \nCalling all children aged between four and seventeen. \nIf you are aged between four and sixteen\, grab your cultural clothing and join us on the runway! Participation is absolutely free\, and families are encouraged to participate together. We also welcome a variety of children’s performances\, so let your talents shine!
