By getting active and spending time outdoors\, you’ll not only boost your own mental well-being but also raise vital funds for your local mental health and dementia services.  \nWhat to expect?  \n\nA festive 5k route with a view of Crystal Palace Park’s iconic dinosaurs \nMr Motivator style warm up from Pure Gym London Borough \nA victory medal when you cross the finish line \nGoody bags \nNeal’s Yard pamper stand \nElf and Wellness stall \nFace painting fun \nChristmas crafts stall \nClose to Crystal Palace Park’s seasonal food market \nAnd maybe even a visit from Santa! \n\nFancy dress is not mandatory\, but the best-dressed elves (or dogs) will receive an optional spotlight on our social media!  \nBuggies are welcome as long as you don’t mind potential mud on the two grassy sections of the route. Friendly dogs kept on a short lead are also very welcome to join.  \nEager Elf discounted tickets are £15 for a limited time only! Under 16s come for free (must be with an adult).

DESCRIPTION:With all races starting and finishing on the track at the Crystal Palace National Athletics Stadium\, The Crystal Palace Summer Run Fest is a unique opportunity to run through the stadium and the park. With 10km\, 5km and 3km distances\, there is something for everyone\, including children. All races have routed out and around the Crystal Palace Park pathways. \nThis race will be a Chip timed event\, with a bespoke Medal and refreshments at the finish\, including refreshments! \nThe overall top 3 male and female finishers for each distance will be awarded trophies\, as well as the following age group categories:\n10km – 15-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60+\n5km – 11-14\, 15-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60+\n3km – 6-7\, 8-9\, 10-11\, 12-13\, 14-19\, Adult\nAge categories are based upon the age at the day of the race.\nFinish times will be based upon gun time unless waves are necessary due to covid precautions.\nOur running events appeal to all abilities – from social runners taking the plunge into their first race to some of the best local athletes. We strive to create an environment where all runners are encouraged to achieve their personal goals\, no matter their ability.\nCovid rules at the time of the event will be adhered to.\nEntry Fees:\n10k £25 Minimum age 15\n5k £19 Minimum age 11\n3k £14 Minimum age 6\n(Affiliated club runners receive a £2 discount upon registering)
