DESCRIPTION:Moon Press and guest editor @artizineuk invites you to reimagine the Moon as a celestial playground in an immersive zine-making workshop 🌕 \n\n\n\nBecome a contributor and create your own zine page to go in the final digital & print edition of the Moon Press publication. \n\n\n\nOur zine workshop will investigate: \n\n\n\n🔭 How would the Moon look and act as a playground? \n\n\n\n🪐 How can we design spaces which celebrate rest\, playing and wondering? \n\n\n\n🚀 Can we work towards abandoning capitalistic achievement to seek the freedom of playing on the Moon? \n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to join and contribute with their thoughts and art\, no prior experience needed! \n\n\n\nAll materials are included. \n\n\n\nFREE/ INCLUSIVE \n\n\n\nMoon Press is an urgent intervention into publishing. A zine that works to break down conventions between the environment\, humans\, and outer space. Moon Press is released at every full moon with a rotation of monthly appointed guest editors\, designers and a selection of brilliant artists that challenge the status quo and offer alternatives for new futures. \n\n\n\nArtizine UK is a not for profit initiative dedicated to encouraging individuals to be creative through engaging and accessible art-making workshops. Our workshops focus on cultivating a culture of meaning within groups of individuals and perpetuating ideas of collaboration over competition and collective care. \n\n\n\nTour de Moon is a direct response to the current world we live in – where history is\, unfortunately\, repeating itself. Tour De Moon invites you to ask: WHY can’t we imagine a new way of thinking/dreaming/doing? We need to use radical imagination to create alternative futures. Tour De Moon provides a platform for plurality\, fresh thinking and new ideas. A unique\, immersive 3 city 4 day festival of free public events – Leicester 13–16 May\, Newcastle 27–30 May and Southampton 10–13 June – all linked by a touring sustainable Convoy (11 May-16 June) and celebrating nightlife and youth countercultures from across the UK and beyond.
