DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to host Grayson Perry CBE RA on the subject of Divided Britain in the Guildhall’s Livery Hall on Wednesday 3rd July as part of our City Lit Perspectives series. \nGrayson is an avid supporter of City Lit\, having been awarded our City Lit Lifetime Fellowship Award in 2018. Speaking on the subject of Divided Britain\, Grayson will be discussing the role that the arts and creativity can play in narrowing\, or widening the gaps in society. Perry’s work has varied thematically from subjects such as identity\, rites of passage and taste through to grief and perceptions of modern day masculinity.
