It was there that The Shite Feminist was born – a cheeky\, raucous\, and sharply insightful comedy show written during her studies. \nThe Shite Feminist sees Rachel dive headfirst into the murky waters of Catholic guilt\, girlhood\, and sexuality. With her infectious humour and raw relatability\, she delivers a bold\, refreshing take on what it means to grow up religious\, discover feminism\, and still not quite get it right. \nRachel Galvo said: “Catholic Ireland is a weird place to grow up in… especially as a girl. I wrote this show instead of going back to therapy… because that’s too expensive and she wouldn’t find the trauma as funny as the audiences do. Last year\, I threw myself into the deep end at the Fringe with zero experience and very little confidence. This year\, everything has changed. It’s been incredible to watch the show grow and to see how strongly audiences are connecting with it. I can’t wait to be back at the Fringe this year.”
