DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s film release and in homage to Homer’s magnificent epic\, The London Literary Salon presents The Odyssey Live! \n\n\n\n\nThe Odyssey Live! is a new in-person event created by The London Literary Salon\, coming to the Century Club on 17 October. \nSalon founder Toby Brothers\, who has shared the Odyssey with readers aged from 9 to 90\, will be joined by fellow enthusiasts Alexis Cambanis and Susanna Taggart to bring key passages from The Odyssey to life\, following the hero’s 10-year journey home to Ithaca\, his encounters with the Cyclops\, the Sirens and Circe\, and his reunion with his wife and son. \nThe performance will combine readings\, including passages heard in both English and Greek\, illuminated with context and discussion.
