To mark the occasion\, kids go half price all week\, making it one of the best value days out in the capital this half term. \nEach day of the week has its own conservation theme\, with interactive stalls and activities run by wildlife charity partners including WWF\, the RSPB and the Mitcham Hedgehog Project. From Big Beekend on 23–24 May to Native Species Day\, Rare Breeds Day\, World Otter Day\, Hedgehog Day and World Parrot Day\, there’s something new to discover every single day.\nThroughout the week\, animal lovers can enjoy an expanded schedule of keeper talks and feeding sessions\, including visits with the Asian short-clawed otters\, ring-tailed lemurs\, Bagot goats\, capuchin monkeys\, meerkats and more\, with talks running from 10:30 am through to 4 pm daily. \nRound off the week with the Big Birthday Bash on Friday\, 29th May\, when the zoo stays open late until 8:30 pm for an exclusive after-hours celebration. Evening keeper talks include the Scottish wildcats and white-nosed coati\, and adults can enjoy a drink from the café while exploring the zoo by twilight. Discover our past and be a part of our future! \nThe hive cabin will be transformed into an exhibition\, commemorating our achievements over the year\, with a special film exploring our zoo and the experiences of our staff\, both past and present\, free to view all day! \nAlongside a jam-packed schedule of extra special keeper talks throughout the day\, you can enjoy FREE activities on each day of half term! \nMorning\n11:00pm: Asian Short-Clawed Otter\n11:30am: Donkey and pony meet and greet\n12:00pm: Ring-Tailed Lemur \nAfternoon\n2:00pm: The history of BPCZ talk at the Hive cabin.\n2:30pm: Asian Short-Clawed Otter\n3:00pm: Monkey tea time!
