The Japan Season of Culture in the UK will showcase Japan’s multi-faceted appeal, from its culture and art to innovation and cutting-edge technology in areas such as medicine, science and industry. By building on various areas of grassroots exchange and local community activities that already exist, we hope to use the momentum of the Japan Season of Culture to create a legacy that will endure.

Organisers who register events with the Embassy of Japan will be allowed to use the title “Official event of the Japan Season of Culture in the UK” and the official logo for all publicity materials (paper-based, such as posters and pamphlets as well as websites, etc.) to promote the various activities of the “Japan Season of Culture in the UK”. We will publish an outline of the event in the Official Event List of the Japan Season of Culture in the UK on this website.

The design of the official logo uses colours featured in the Japanese and British national flags. It shows interlocking waves to symbolise exchange between Japan and the UK.
