SUMMARY:Woo Woolf
DESCRIPTION:This is not a Virginia Woolf bio-play.  Devised by an all migrant ensemble\, Woo Woolf is a playful protest that reaches across time\, culture\, and language to meet Virginia Woolf in mischief and metaphor. Tracing gendered histories\, fleeting memories\, and migrant feelings through bodies\, screens\, and shifting voices\, the piece invites new ways of seeing\, feeling\, and remembering across language and tradition. \nCreated by Ensemble Not Found (ENF)\, a collective of first-generation ESEA artists\, Woo Woolf draws inspiration from Woolf’s diaries and gender philosophy to explore fluid identity through movement\, multilingual text\, and audiovisual performance. Blending everyday conversation with surreal imagery and fragmented theatrical forms\, the work gently unsettles cultural boundaries and fixed narratives. Developed since 2023\, Woo Woolf has been performed at Theatre Deli and Camden People’s Theatre. \n‘This is not your average storytelling. It can be puzzling. And yet\, I can’t stop looking’ – The Play’s The Thing UK\n‘The performance was truly beautiful and sincere. Powerful and soft\, hitting you in the right spot while leaving a smile on your face.” – Audience response

SUMMARY:Flitsmeister
DESCRIPTION:Hello there…are you sitting comfortably? \nEven with the rise of the right wing throughout Europe? \nCome see Flitsmeister\, because there’s no time like the present to ask these questions! \nFlitsmeister\, is a 14+ show for people who are safe in their own bubble. \nIt’s an explosive techno-opera piece questioning the radicalisation of politics\, infused with Gabber (traditional dance from The Netherlands). \nThis experimental piece explores the lives of a group of young people who face the tension between their youthful innocence and the looming shadow of societal and personal reckoning\, and the consequences of a tragic event.\nA series of intimate\, painful exchanges between characters\, along with chaotic moments of laughter and dance\, slowly reveal the tragic truth: one of them unintentionally caused the tragic event. \nAnd for the first time\, you will be able to see this piece at its full length!

SUMMARY:CODACHROME: a live DJ set about the time I fell in love with a [trigger warning]
DESCRIPTION:CODACHROME is a party play told by two DJs and a deck. \nRemy\, an adult\, discovers their intimate partner is a [trigger warning]\, and must now face the challenge of investigating how trauma might breed such behaviours and what it means to tend to one another’s wounds. \nThey dissect these questions whilst never skipping a beat\, because there’s nowhere more romantic to meet yourself than on the dance floor. \nThis play is a rave\, and this rave “defies conventions” and “packs a punch” – Everything Theatre

SUMMARY:The Uncontainable Nausea of Alec Baldwin
DESCRIPTION:Alec Baldwin is not a superstar. He is not really famous. He wasn’t born in 1958 and does not have eight children. Alec Baldwin has never had sex with Kim Basinger and never ever shot and killed a woman by mistake.\n\nI am Alec Baldwin. But not THE Alec Baldwin. \nThe Uncontainable Nausea of Alec Baldwin is a highly physical and multidisciplinary piece that navigates the psychological and physical breakdown of Alec Baldwin as he grapples with a pervasive sense of Nausea towards himself and the desensitised digital society he is part of.\n\nFollowing a significant life-altering event that leaves Alec largely isolated\, he becomes obsessively engaged with an AI bot\, finding solace in its unfiltered factual directness. This connection pushes Alec to question humanity’s paradoxical relationship with violence\, war and its moral double standards. Haunted by the consequences of his actions\, Alec embarks on an absurd and visceral quest to confront personal guilt and societal indifference\, while attempting to reconcile his existence with the harsh realities faced by our generation. Will Alec Baldwin break free from his Nausea?

SUMMARY:Mendaki (To Climb)
DESCRIPTION:MENDAKI (formerly Siapa Yang Bawa Melayu Aku Pergi?) is Faizal Abdullah’s unflinching solo performance reclaiming his Muslim-Malay-Singaporean identity from colonial myths\, state narratives and disappearing heritage. Part performance-lecture\, part cultural love letter\, it slices through history\, identity and language with wit\, rage and unexpected tenderness. \nOver the course of an hour\, Faizal shifts between himself and his alter-egos\, inviting you into a world where history is carefully curated\, identity is state-regulated\, and being Muslim-Malay in Singapore can sometimes feel like quiet rebellion. From colonial treaties to National Service\, from void deck weddings to National Day parades\,personal history collides with political inheritance\, and lost narratives are brought to life. \nYou’ll learn\, laugh\, and question what you know about the little red dot that is Singapore. MENDAKI is an urgent act of memory and resistance; a bold stand for language\, belonging and the refusal to disappear. \n2023 Eclipse Award winner.

SUMMARY:XQUENDA
DESCRIPTION:Xquenda is the story of a young indigenous woman from rural Oaxaca\, and her search for justice after the disappearance and murder of her best friend. No one seems to care due to their social and economic conditions. \nHer protest is through her Poems.\nHer weapon is her Words. \nThrough letters written while she’s protesting\, we get to know her life\, her traditions and culture\, the magical realism that is the heart of her town\, and her love and connection with her ancestors and with the nature of the world that surrounds her\, which\, although beautiful\, is not necessarily fair for women. \nXquenda is a word in ancient Zapotec which means “Soul”\, referring to the true self of a person\, and what remains on earth after death. \nAccompanied by live music and recorded tracks with traditional Mexican rhythms\, the piece is performed in English\, Spanish\, and Zapotec languages. \nBased on a true story.

SUMMARY:When the Clarion Came to Call
DESCRIPTION:In this audacious solo performance by artist and somatic traumatologist Stefan Jovanović Kaasa\, myth meets movement in a ritual that resists categorisation and demands to be felt before understood. The clarion\, a winged healer\, emerges from the shadows bearing messages of warning and transformation. \nCombining dance\, physical theatre\, spoken word\, storytelling and song\, When the Clarion Came to Call unfolds in the round across nine archetypal chapters. It channels the cyclical nature of trauma and healing\, tracing the fractured lines between accountability and the possibility of renewal. At its centre is the clarion—a mystical bird-being and symbol of queer resilience—inviting audiences into a shared space of reckoning\, intimacy and the phantasmagorical. \nAlthough fully scripted\, this work is dynamically shaped by the presence of each audience and the collective energy of gathering. Without requiring active participation\, you are invited to engage with your total attention—bringing your full self\, just as you are. The piece blurs the line between theatre and ritual\, myth and memory\, performer and witness. The clarion does not explain. It calls. \nThis Cockpit UK premiere marks the debut of Strange Fictions\, Jovanović Kaasa’s new performance company\, previously known as Studio Stefan Jovanović. Under that name\, his past works include Constellations (Sadler’s Wells\, Lilian Baylis Studio\, 2019) and Drumming in the Hall of the Mountain (Derby Festé\, 2022).

She worries about Flint but isn’t about easily letting Flint’s dad back into his life. \nDanny is a Childline listener\, a former gang member\, a convict\, and Flint’s estranged father. He is on a journey back to his son. But will he find Flint before it’s too late? \nCarol\, outreach and youth worker\, and Danny’s girlfriend. She hears the worst of people’s stories\, including the worst excesses of Shania’s baby’s father. \nAngel\, gangland chief. He’ll initiate all his boys and girls into the tribe\, holding them close with disturbing gratification.\nAngel’s about to invite Flint for tea\, sales training\, and help with a weapons upgrade. \nWhat forces compel Flint\, Book\, Shania and the others towards ever-repeating tragedy? \nThis is a race against time to break the cycle.
