Let’s break it down:\nJuni: An abbreviation of Gin’s signature botanical\, juniper.\nPalooza: A party\, celebration or festival.\nJunipalooza: Dozens and dozens of gin makers in one room\, sharing their love for the spirit and serving up samples and stories for all to enjoy.\n–\nJunipalooza\, now in its ninth year\, is a MEET THE MAKER festival. Either the distiller or brand owner will be there in person and you will be able to meet the people that put everything they have into the gins they make.\nThe format is simple. Each guest is given their very own keepsake tasting glass to take around the show.\nThere will be over 60 different distillers taking part\, with well over three hundred different gins between them and you’ll be able to stop by whichever ones take your fancy and try their gins both neat and with tonic.\nJunipalooza is a unique event because you’ll get to meet some of the biggest names of the category – responsible for some of the most iconic gins in the world. There are international teams who fly into to say hello in person\, local favourites representing\, established brands with big ranges and some of the smallest operations just starting out of their kitchens. It’s a weekend of big dreams\, big flavours and a lot of fun.\nThere are no catches\, no pay as you go G&T’s – so long as you are in tip-top condition\, you can sample away. There’s also plenty of food and water on offer to make sure can maximise the session.
