DESCRIPTION:An afternoon of activities\, food and fun.\n\n\n\nJoin us to see out the Year of the trusting Water Rabbit and welcome in the inspiring and ferocious Wood Dragon! \n\n\n\nFollowing our Creative Contemporary Children‘s classes on Saturday\, 10 February\, we will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with an afternoon of craft and dance activities in our beautiful Roof Studio. \n\n\n\nCraft activities: Throughout the afternoon.We’ll be making Dragon Puppets\, Mosaic Lanterns and Dragon Masks! \n\n\n\nChinese Ribbon Dance workshops: 1.15 – 1.45 and 3 – 3.30 pmJoin Yuyu Rau from New Earth Theatre for a fun introduction to this dance originating in ancient China. Chinese ribbon dance has been performed for over 1000s years\, using rhythmic motions and a long ribbon. Suitable for ages 4+. \n\n\n\nThere will also be tasty food! Including veggie spring rolls\, prawn and vegan crackers\, lucky fruit\, yam cookies and fortune cookies\, plus soft drinks and Chinese tea to share.
