DESCRIPTION:The 10th/11th September will be a weekend of running celebrations as we celebrate our 10th anniversary! \nRichmond RUN FEST consists of 6 different distanced events\, 10\,000 runners\, a music stage and a fitness expo. We are known for our excellent male & female cut tech T-shirts\, our chunky triangle medals and a FREE beer to celebrate your hard work! \nWe have the privilege to start our half and full marathon inside the beautiful Kew Gardens and host the AIR:10K that offers runners a fantastic performance-enhancing musical tour guide\, entirely within the Royal Botanical Gardens. \nAs part of our 2012 Olympic legacy pledge\, we organise a series of kids mile races for over 1\,000 kids at Old Deer Park\, followed by our fun Visit Cayman Islands SUNDOWN 5K run and after-party. \nWe are beginner-friendly and locally organised.

SUMMARY:Kempton Park Running Festival
DESCRIPTION:Running at Kempton Park is back with the option of a 5k\, 10k\, Half and Full Marathon at the famous Kempton Park Racecourse! \nA new series of races organised by Quicksilver Running and RUNFEST EVENTS within the flat Kempton Park Racecourse grounds. All distances are officially measured. We have four distances comprising 5k\, 10k and half & full marathon every distance is on fully closed roads and paths. \nAll races start and finish outside the famous racecourse finish line grandstand so the music and atmosphere will be electric. The pleasant open aspect promises to deliver fast times and a fun event against a scenic backdrop. \nRun under licence from UK Athletics\, the events results will be recorded and eligible for inclusion in Power of 10 Athletes rankings. As well as a commemorative medal\, all finishers will be able to download a personalised certificate recording their time and position. \nKempton Park offers masses of car parking and boasts its own rail station\, with trains every hour on the Sunday service\, to London Waterloo and Shepperton.

The Half Marathon takes you on a scenic tour of the leafy London Borough of Richmond\, starting and finishing at Kew Gardens\, via a panoramic tour of the Richmond Riverside and Ham House.
