DESCRIPTION:For SicilyFEST May 2020 refer to this link: eventsforlondon.co.uk/event/sicily-fest-may-2020/ \n  \nSicilyFEST\,​ the Sicilian-themed food & drink event organised by PopUpMarketSicily in collaboration with P&A events\, ​doubles up for this 2019 bringing to London a second edition in October.\nSicily in autumn is just stunning: a warm red sun matches the earthy hues of pomegranates\, chestnuts and vine leaves and the warm colour palette of the landscape.\nSo\, let’s ​FALL​ (pun intended) ​in Love with SicilyFEST!\nOn ​October 18-19-20​ once again SicilyFEST will celebrate Sicily and its deliciously good products at The Boiler House in Brick Lane\, right here in the heart of London!\nThe Boiler House on Brick Lane​ will host a special autumnal\, super tasty and mouth-watering invasion of odours and tastes from the beautiful pearl of the Mediterranean. And SicilyFEST is ready to “conquer” Londoners – and their taste buds – as it always has in the past editions with ​a wide selection of arancini\, wine\, cannoli\, cheese\, pasta ​and many many more surprises. \n \nBecause\, may the seasons and things around us change\, but at least we have one absolute and incontestable certainty: ​we love food\, we love to eat\, and we love to share our passion for good Sicilian food!\nSicilyFEST will run for three days​\, from Friday 18h of October to Sunday 20th: three days to enjoy ​the tantalising array of stalls which focus on Sicilian food produce\, wine and drinks​. A unique\, exciting and not to be missed experience for the London foodie. \n  \n\n\n \nSicilyFEST celebrates also Sicilian culture​\, so visitors will be able to enjoy ​a special exhibition of authentic Sicilian carts by Muscà (The Museum of Sicilian carts​): ​the Sicilian cart is one of the world-known symbols of Sicilian folklore\, it was used not only as a means of transportation but also as a storytelling media – call it the Instagram of the old days – on wheels with its intricately carved wood and hand-drawn paintings of famous scenes from history\, tradition and religion.\n“Made in Sicily” mean also creativity and art: over the three days\, visitors will be able to enjoy ​live music exhibitions​ by folk singer Saura Sauta and The Heron Temple ​and dj set by Jerry Prestigiacomo and Nunzio Ciuridda​\, ​in addition to​ free master classes by Chef Enzo Oliveri ​(president of ​FIC-UK)​\, Chef Carmelo Carnevale ​(President of APCI-UK)\, ​and Chef Alessandro Ingiulla from One-Michelin-starred restaurant Sapio.\nYoung visitors will also find a ​kids creativity corner​\, in collaboration with the charity organisation​ Children do Matter​\, to create colourful Sicilian-inspired masterpieces\, and a special​ “Make your own cannolo” workshop ​on Saturday in collaboration with FIC-UK.\nSicilyFEST\, a Festival of all things Sicilian\, a tasty and visual feast\, for the stomach as well as the eyes.\nFALL in love with SicilyFEST!
