In MIS(S)LABELLED\, Heli explores everything from awkward cultural stereotypes to heartbreak\, feminism\, and the question on everyone’s mind:\n “Why is everyone still confused about Eastern Europe?” \nExpect to leave with a laugh\, a few epiphanies\, and possibly a renewed appreciation for geography. The Adventures of the White Unicorn\, Heli’s debut solo show\, premiered at the Tallinn Fringe Festival in 2023. A year (and several continents) later\, she’s heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a fresh take on what it means to be mis(s)understood\, mis(s)represented\, and most definitely mis(s)labelled. \nWhether you’re from Tallinn\, Tokyo\, or Tooting (!) this show is for anyone who’s ever felt like they don’t quite fit the mold.  \nHeli doesn’t just perform; she connects. Her style is warm\, fearless\, and hilariously vulnerable. It’s not “a comedian talking at you”\, it’s more like catching up with a brutally honest friend over drinks (but she’s got the mic\, and it’s her round).

In an era where we can find love anywhere Zoe continues to look in all the wrong glory holes hoping to find something more substantial than a zodiac alignment. In this new work in progress she is going back in time to dissect the hilarious circumstances of her parents divorce to finally find the right people to blame for all of her problems. \n\n\n\nDom spent 10 years in catholic school being a ‘pleasure to have in class\,’ but now can’t spend 10 minutes in a therapy zoom that he pays for without going on his phone. He hasn’t had an original thought in ten years but will still lecture you with a half regurgitated news story he heard on tiktok. \n\n\n\nDom and Zoe are two comedians with different styles\, backgrounds\, and approaches to comedy\, but a shared biting wit\, astute cultural observations\, and ability to make audiences howl with laughter. Spit Bill is an hour of fast paced jokes from two comedians from different religious backgrounds who somehow share the same God complex. \n\n\n\nMeet Zoe Brownstone – a highly sought-after comedian with a unique brand of heartfelt and hilarious stand-up comedy. Her whip-smart wit and her ability to surprise audiences with her stories has earned her gigs on stages from coast to coast in Canada\, The US\, Europe and most recently The UK. Zoe has been featured on SiriusXM and IHeartRadio and was most recently the runner up in the prestigious OF Creative Fund Comedy Competition. \n\n\n\nDom McGovern is an accomplished\, energetic comedian who covers topics including sexuality\, politics\, religion\, and pop culture with a calm confidence. Think Michael McIntyre if he’d huffed a few more poppers before hitting the stage.
