DESCRIPTION:This half term\, Lewisham Shopping is offering local families the chance to get green fingered and find out more about gardening and biodegradation in support of World Environment Day. \nFrom Thursday – Saturday\, 10:30am – 4pm\, the mall will come to life with all things green\, with free activities for the whole family to enjoy – including plant potting and giveaways of reusable bags and cups\, helping teach children about the importance of caring for the natural environment. \nThroughout Lewisham Shopping\, there are a number of initiatives to help reduce our impact on the environment\, including the ‘Refill Me’ scheme that provides free access to water for all visitors via a newly installed fountain in the centre. Cafes and eateries throughout the centre\, including Costa\, Starbucks and Muffin Break\, also offer discounts on hot drinks when shoppers use reusable cups. \nThe Grow your own activity is taking place in Central Square\, Lewisham Shopping.
