Introducing Kraken’s Screamfest VI: Here We Come. \n\n\n \n\n\nHide and seek is a fun childhood game that evokes nothing but happy memories\, right? No longer. This Halloween\, the age-old\, innocent game of hide and seek is being transformed by The Kraken Rum into a disturbing\, twisted and truly terrifying 18+ immersive horror experience designed to give people nightmares. It may be the most horrifying game of hide and seek the world has ever seen. Welcome to Screamfest VI: Here We Come.\n\n\n \n\n\nGiven the requirement to conceal oneself in oppressive physical spaces\, the prospect of being caught and dragged into the shadows\, and the sheer terror of it all\, this unique game of hide and seek is strictly 18+\, and players will need to sign a waiver* to play. The foolhardy folks that do will then be ushered into a dark\, dank and disorientating underground labyrinth full of grim hiding places to begin their hide-and-seek nightmare. \n\n\n \n\n\nLike the classic game of hide and seek\, players will have a brief period to find a hiding place and conceal themselves before the seekers arrive… And that’s where the similarities end. From there on\, in its pure unadulterated horror\, a group of foes pursues players. Hence\, an expert at seeking that constantly moving from hiding place to hiding place is the only way to have any chance of remaining unfound.\n\n\n \n\n\nHiders will need to evade the malevolent seekers for a full 20 minutes. Anyone caught will be dragged to a cage and locked away until the game ends. During the game\, players can find collectables to exchange for Kraken rewards after the game is over.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe Kraken bar will also contain multiple accursed arcade machines\, giving hiders a second chance at beating the Beast-worshipping seekers in arcade form. Beware\, though: losing at the arcade game will only help strengthen the curse of keeping these monsters in the real world. SUMMARY:The Kraken ‘Espreso Artini’ Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The master of the dark arts (and darker rum)\, The Kraken\, is celebrating the launch of its first flavoured rum\, The Kraken Roast Coffee\, with the creation of the UK’s first-ever pop-up gallery that invites guests to drink the artworks on the show! \nOpening in London’s Greek Street\, Soho on 28th May with daytime viewing open to all (Midday – 6 pm) and ticketed opening party (7 pm-11 pm); the pop-up gallery will showcase bespoke Kraken artworks created in collaboration with the world-renowned comic artist Brian Williamson. Strictly limited to 100 hands numbered and signed ‘drinkable prints’\, the detailed illustrations will be brought to life on Espresso Rumtini cocktails\, thus transforming them into ‘Espresso Artinis’\, as well as being hung as more traditional forms of artwork in the gallery itself.\nUpon arrival\, guests will be given a gold coin which they can exchange for an Espresso Artini with an illustration of their choice atop the piece of printed edible art. Those who want to try out drawing their cocktail artworks will also have the chance to book in for a masterclass during the daytime with renowned coffee artist Ben Lewis in a designated ‘art room’ at the London gallery\, with each daring artist rewarded with a delicious drink at the end of their endeavours. \nSubverting the norms of a usual exhibition\, The Kraken’s Espresso Artini pop-up will [of course] play host to a full Kraken bar\, stocked with a range of cocktails created with The Kraken Roast Coffee and its signature cocktail – The Perfect Storm\, crafted with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum\, ginger beer and lime. The Kraken Roast Coffee (70cl\, 40% ABV) is a rich fusion of Spiced Caribbean Rum and fine Arabica Bean coffee. As a result\, it tastes as devilishly intense as one might suspect – craftily balancing the rich\, dark\, smooth taste of coffee with the original Kraken Black Spiced Rum spices. \nThe story goes that in an attempt to ward off an imminent Kraken attack\, those who occupy the shores of the High Seas and beyond have persisted with ancient and unavailing methods of hindering The Beast\, one being to harness the dark aroma of roast coffee in a futile attempt to deter him. As you’d expect\, even the most menacingly potent of Arabica Beans cannot stop one as mighty as The Kraken\, but at least it has resulted in this new and rich dark rum. One which is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.\nThe Kraken Espresso Artini Exhibition will be popping up at 59 Greek Street in London on 28th May. A limited number of tickets are available\, which can be booked here: https://the-kraken-artini.myshopify.com/. Each ticket costs £5 per person and will include entry\, an Espresso Artini and a taste of The Kraken Roast Coffee in two other cocktail forms.\nThe pop-up will then travel to Head of Steam in Birmingham on 8th June and Call Lane Social in Leeds on 9th June. A gift from The Beast\, delivering treasures from the deep to the tables of loved ones across the nation. \nCurated by The Kraken Rum\, this world-first romantic jellyfish meal comprises three courses\, each with the ocean’s most gelatinous inhabitant taking centre-stage on the plate. \nThe starter is jellyfish salad with sesame and peanut dressing; the main is teriyaki jellyfish with squid ink noodles and bonito flakes\, and the dessert is a seafood pudding of the wobbliest proportions – jelly infused with jellyfish and Kraken Rum. \nCited by scientists around the globe as the sustainable seafood of the future (due to the high number available and the specie’s unique renewable life cycle)\, the humble jellyfish has been elevated to new heights by a team of chefs to create a gourmet dinner the likes of which have never seen before on UK shores. \nEven those most squeamish at the prospect of devouring the venomous\, be-tentacled sea creature will be won over by this delicious degustation\, with every crunchy yet bouncy bite of glassy jellyfish transporting loved-up diners from their living rooms to the mysterious and bioluminescent world of the deep ocean. \nThe Valentine’s jellyfish dinner is available exclusively to experience at home. The bottle has a deep blue pearlescent coating with a rough\, tactile embossed finish and shimmering detail. It comes contained within its distressed diving cage – a tribute to the brave explorers.
