DESCRIPTION:As we approach the halcyon days around the winter solstice\, Joseph Walsh’s workshop ‘Plant Gazing: Under Marshmallow Moon’ offers a unique opportunity to connect with plant allies and set personal intentions for the upcoming year. \n\n\n\nImmerse yourself in the IMT Gallery space\, subtly smudged with mugwort to encourage chi flow. A curated selection of plants will be available for drawing\, accompanied by prompts and guidance on the techniques of plant gazing and observation. \n\n\n\nTake a moment to ground yourself and reconnect with your body\, sipping on Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) tea cultivated and harvested from Joseph’s wildlife plot. Here\, we delve into the symbolism of water as an element to enhance our intentions\, as marshmallow creates mucilage in the body\, offering softening and healing properties. As a special takeaway\, participants will receive a portion of this tea – an intentional offering for personal contemplation or to share with someone special. \n\n\n\n🎟️ Plant Gazing will take place on Tuesday\, 19 December at 7 pm.
