SUMMARY:Screen-Printing Workshop in Shoreditch- Art for Palestine
DESCRIPTION:HYPEPEACE is hosting workshops during a week-long pop-up shop in London. Learn the craft of screen-printing that is often used in poster design and clothing print. Beginners are welcome!\nThese workshops are part of our fundraising towards opening an Art Facility in Bethlehem for the Palestinian children and the youth in Aida Camp. 100% of profits from these workshops will directly go towards the Art Facility.\nHead over to our Crowdfunding page\, ‘Art for Palestine’\, to hear more! \nWORKSHOP DETAILS\nTo begin\, you will learn about different screen-printing techniques and then put into practice the craft using stencils to design a print and create it into your very own poster or tote bag! \nWe have two types of workshops running: \nWorkshop for KIDS age 5-14yeard old  (must be accompanied by an adult)\nSunday 25th July\, 1 pm\nThursday 29th July\, 1 pm. \nWorkshop for GROWN-UPS\nThursday 29th July\, 6:30 pm\nThe workshop session is for 2 hours. \nScreen printing can be messy so try not to wear your best clothes to this workshop!\nThere will be delicious food & drinks sold by What The Fattoush? (Plant-based Palestinian dishes!) throughout our pop-up events. \nPLEASE NOTE: \nAn adult must accompany children below the age of 16. Max of 2 children per adult.\nThe price for the KIDS workshop is per child partaking; the adults will not pay as they only supervise. Should you want to partake and produce your own work of art during the Kids Workshop\, please get in touch with us.\nArrival: Please arrive at the venue 10mins before the event.\nCovid rules: As the easing of lockdown will start from 19th July in London\, wearing masks and social distancing is optional rather than mandatory. However\, we will abide by any strict rules deemed necessary when it comes to the health and safety of our customers. So please be mindful of each other and our house rules when attending.\nThere will be a maximum of 12 participants (including adults) during each workshop. We will update you on any changes in the rules. \nHOW TO GET HERE: \nDriving into London: You may need to pay a Congestion Fee if travelling from outside London into the city. Pls\, check London Transport for more details.\nParking: There is paid parking around Shoreditch. Some roads on Sundays are free parking.\nNearest stations: Shoreditch High Street overground is less than 2 mins walk to our shop. Old Street (underground)\, Liverpool Street (train & underground)\, and Hoxton (overground) stations are within 10mins walk.
