Until one mysterious evening three parrots visit him and warn him he must change his ways. \nCan you help Captain Crabby’s crew get home in time for Christmas? \nA light-hearted and fun pirate themed retelling of the classic tale ‘A Christmas Carol’. \nDon’t miss this magical festive show perfect for the whole family featuring our talented Golden Hinde acting crew and mischievous glove puppets. \nFriday 21 December shows at 11:00 and 15:00. \nSaturday 22 December shows at 11:00\, 13:00\, and 15:00. \nShow lasts 30 minutes and all children will receive a Christmas gift at the end of the show. \nTickets include admission so you can explore the ship before or after the show.  \nIt is cold aboard the ship during the winter\, please make sure you dress for the weather on your visit.

Period instruments are used to underlie the unique style of Spanish music resulting from its combination of Christian\, Muslim and Jewish cultures. \nThe feast of Christmas was marked in Renaissance Spain by large processions and long and elaborate pieces of choral music\, sometimes consisting of a single melodic line rather than the carols and hymns of later periods. \nThe performance will resemble a celebration at court\, with sacred songs to highlight the season as well as the more popular songs of love\, rivalry and mischief common throughout the year.

DESCRIPTION:Climb aboard Francis Drake’s ship\, The Golden Hinde\, courtesy of Across the Sea and Flotsam Sessions! \nTashkezar are a seven-piece superband from across the UK\, Egypt\, France and Uzbekistan. Their transcultural vibes and explosive fusion sound takes in powerful Mediterranean rhythms\, mesmerising Arabic vocals and melodies\, punchy Balkan horns and floor-shaking bass lines. Led by the wonderful Mariam Ali\, an Egyptian-Montenegrin singer/songwriter who will also be leading Flotsam Sessions’ November workshop. \nWith a basis in traditional East Asian music The Sages – 竹林七贤 draw inspirations from different music elements throughout time and history. Through original composition and adaption of traditional music the band explores the concepts between “East” and “West”\, cultural identity and musical genres. Led by Yi Jia and Peadar Connolly-Davey fresh from Flotsam Sessions’ October 3rd workshop. \nDoors open at 18:30\, drinks available at bar\, music starts at 19:00.
