SUMMARY:The Fight Well Project
DESCRIPTION:Ella becomes caught between 2 worlds when she begins to play The Fight Well Project\, a hyper-realistic video game with sky-high stakes. \nInspired by the testimony of many black women\, the story follows Ella as she embarks on a quest to be well when she starts playing The Fight Well Project. This hyper-realistic video game might just be her demo version to defeat the real world. Can she make it to the final Boss?\nWith atmospheric sound design\, sharp visuals and infused retro video game references\, this work-in-progress show\, first developed through Camden People’s Theatre seed commission scheme\, explores just what it will take for black women to be believed when it comes to our bodies. \nSupported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England
