SUMMARY:The Art of Mini Golf – Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:An exhibition of rebellion and play for the curious\, the competitive\, and anyone bold enough to swing outside the lines.\nPlay your way through nine adventurous mini-golf holes\, each designed by a leading woman artist\, as you explore the game’s subversive history. \nArtist\, filmmaker and writer Miranda July (All Fours) goes ‘All Fores’ for the project. Kaylene Whiskey sets course with pop icons woven through Anangu culture. Tokyo’s Saeborg unleashes latex creatures of cartoonish menace\, Delaine Le Bas squares the circle\, and Natasha Tontey entwines speculative storytelling with mythology\, technology\, and alternative histories. Atlanta rapper BKTHERULA joins sound artist Kate Miller to make swamp flowers bloom. Australian duo Soda Jerk open an algorithmic K-hole\, and prolific photographer Pat Brassington dives headfirst. \nOnly the most audacious artists are here because mini golf itself was born of rebellion. The game was originally invented by 19th-century Scottish women who were banned from ‘real’ courses but refused to sit on the sidelines. \nPick your putter. It’s art that fills the cup.

SUMMARY:"La Matière du Rêve" Group Show
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Dorothy Circus Gallery brings together seventeen artists from across the globe\, united by a shared impulse to construct imaginative worlds shaped by folklore and mythology\, memory and identity\, ecological unease\, and the complexities of inner life. \nSpanning diverse cultural backgrounds and artistic traditions\, the exhibition presents a rich constellation of perspectives that move fluidly between the real and the imagined. Drawing on personal narratives\, collective histories\, and symbolic languages\, the featured works transform familiar experiences into evocative visual stories where dream and reality intertwine. \nRooted in traditions ranging from folk tales and mythological narratives to Pop Surrealism\, contemporary figuration\, and allegorical fantasy\, the exhibition explores the enduring power of storytelling as a means of understanding both the self and the world. Themes of transformation\, belonging\, resilience\, and wonder emerge through works that are at once deeply personal and universally resonant. \nAcross painting\, drawing\, and mixed media\, the artists create spaces where cultural heritage meets contemporary imagination\, inviting viewers to navigate landscapes populated by memories\, archetypes\, and speculative futures. \nTogether\, these works reveal how mythmaking continues to shape our understanding of the present—offering new ways to process personal experiences\, collective anxieties\, and the ever-changing realities of contemporary life.

SUMMARY:Transit - London Theatre
DESCRIPTION:How do you pack a life into 23 kilograms? One item at a time. \nTransit is an award-winning\, genre-bending investigation of identity\, belonging and migration. Told through a series of vignettes utilising physical theatre\, multilingual performance\, poetry\, dance\, multimedia\, practical lights and music\, Transit delicately navigates the feeling of being ‘too foreign for here\, too foreign for home.’ \nFrom the endless cycle of unpacking and repacking to wondering when you can stop being considered ‘a foreigner’ to building community and hope amidst uncertainty\, this deeply human piece is a love letter to anyone who has ever moved away from home. \nBased on true stories gathered from migrants across the UK\, Transit asks: what does it mean to settle in the space between languages\, cultures and identities? \nAll performances of Transit are creatively captioned.

SUMMARY:Bury Me Before You Marry Me
DESCRIPTION:In some parts of Asia\, there is a belief:\nwhen a young man dies unmarried\, his parents will find him a bride and hold a ghost wedding to accompany him in death. \nSometimes\, the bride is a corpse.\nSometimes\, the woman being buried is still alive. \nOne day\, a British man named Jason discovers that his Chinese girlfriend has been involved in a ghost marriage… \n___________________________________________________________________ \nThis is a dark comedy. An immersive interactive theatre experience. \nThe audience does not simply watch the story. They become part of it.\nYou will interact with the characters\, and at key moments\, you will make crucial decisions on their behalf.\nEvery choice will completely change the direction of the story. As a result\, each performance leads to a different ending and different fates for the characters. \nThis is a ritual that requires your participation.\nThe ending is yours to decide. \nProduced and presented by Susu Productions \nGet your tickets HERE
