DESCRIPTION:Join multi-disciplinary artist Blandine Bardeau to explore abstraction and meditation and create a series of collage works. \nAbout this event:\nCome explore your own creativity and the joy of making abstract art through playful experimentations of drawing\, painting and making collages in a small and intimate setting. Most of us are terrified of making a mistake\, doing the «wrong thing» and adult life often feels so serious. This session is about freedom\, letting go of our fears\, and connecting to a part of us that we don’t usually allow to come out in our busy daily lives. \nAs an indie art gallery\, we believe in art as a lived experience of the many. Pioneering new ways of making art accessible in a post-covid landscape\, we are proud to launch our Bleur Takeovers series\, partnering with carefully selected venues across London to bring art closer to the people and support our artists. This Spring\, we are thrilled to team up with the brilliant guys at Little Louie in Elephant Park: café by day\, wine and cocktail bar by night. From mindfulness drawing to freestyle embroidery\, join our talented collective of artists for weekly creative sessions every Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. You’ll be immersing yourself in cutting edge art explorations while socialising with your favourite drink — what’s not to like? Tickets will sell fast so make sure to grab yours! \nPrice includes all materials needed for the session and a drink voucher to redeem at the bar. Ticket sales go straight to supporting our artists. \nAbout the artist:\nBlandine Bardeau is a French born multi-disciplinary artist whose work is a playful exploration of the boundaries between the figurative and the abstract. Her feminine lines and intuitive experimentations has won her recognition early on in her career including winning the Louis Vuitton Bag Design Competition at Central Saint Martins and being featured in several publications. ⁠ \nAs with all creative experimentations\, things can get a bit messy so make sure you wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Open to anyone\, no previous experience required. \nLittle Louie is located on the ground floor and is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. SUMMARY:The Art of Coffee: A Series Of Festive Art Classes For Coffee LOVERS
DESCRIPTION:The Gentlemen Baristas and Bleur have teamed up to bring you ‘The Art of Coffee’ campaign\, a series of festive card-making classes using the medium of coffee. 10% of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to social enterprise Well-Grounded to help change the lives of unemployed people through coffee. \n29th November – Joanna Layla\n30th November – Eva Merendes\n1st December – Blandine Bardeau\nTime: 6.15pm – 8.00pm \nDuring the class taught by Joanna Layla\, Eva Merendes & Blandine Bardeau\, you will explore the medium of ink made from coffee and watercolours to express your artistic potential in a relaxed\, friendly and fun class. Through a series of activities\, you will learn vital watercolour techniques and gain an insight into the construction of works on paper using inspiration from fashion magazines. You will leave the class with an exploratory collection of small studies on paper and a set of unique hand-made festive cards made with coffee to send to your loved ones this Winter. \nPrice includes all materials needed for the class and delicious refreshments. As with all creative experimentations\, things can get a bit messy\, so make sure you wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. Open to anyone. No previous experience is required. Over 18s only. This class is part of a series of 3 classes.
