Jennifer will share the story of Creole dress and the deep cultural meaning behind head-tying traditions\, before guiding participants in a practical workshop where you’ll learn to create traditional and contemporary headwrap styles. \nMore than a skills session\, this is a celebration of Caribbean heritage\, fashion\, and storytelling. \nOpen to all\, the workshop invites all with an interest in culture and identity to join us for a welcoming\, empowering experience. \nFREE entry – Funded as part of Hackney Council’s Black History Season.
