SUMMARY:Pup Play: A Queer Pseudo-Lecture (of sorts) - Baron's Court Theatre
DESCRIPTION:THE MULTI-AWARD-WINNING\, INTENSELY CONTROVERSIAL\, AND CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED COMEDY (of sorts) RETURNS TO BARON’S COURT THEATRE\nBaron’s Court often invites the world’s leading lecturers to give talks on the issues that matter. That’s why Professor Handler David is here to give a lecture on the kink of pup play and teach London how to turn their bitchboys into good boys. What begins as a traditional lecture quickly transcends labels through stand-up\, homonormative puppets\, punk music\, gay sex\, and multimedia visuals to become an emotionally provocative and boldly introspective reflection on queer identity. “Filled with Puppy Power” (Watermark News)\, Pup Play “has a heart the size of Clifford the Big Red Dog.” (Broadway World)Noah Alfred Pantano writes and stars. He has been described by critics as “immeasurably talented” (Broadway World)\, “sharp\, quick\, and uncompromising” (GSCENE)\, and “bold\, brazen and stratospherically cheeky\, concealing beneath the girth of energy a good heart and a probing mind.” (Lost in Theatreland). Pantano was awarded runner-up for “Activist of the Year” at the National Queer Student Awards. His other work Standing On A Nail was the best-selling play of Colchester Fringe in 2023. \nPup Play has won five awards and tours around the world raising over $1400+ (so far) for LGBTQ+ charities.\nThe show features music by Jake and the Nowhere\, Alan Xtra\, and Tungsten Lungs.\nThe profits from this performance will be donated to a LGBTQ+ charity.\nPup Play is sponsored by Mr.Riegillio\, MessyPup\, BoboBear\, Sent With Pride\, and Essex Startups.

SUMMARY:British Youth Music Theatre - Frankenstein
DESCRIPTION:Fear spreads fast\, but judgment builds terrifying momentum. \nThis visceral new musical adaptation of Frankenstein rips into society’s gaze: how do we decide who is dangerous\, who is worthy\, and who is denied humanity altogether? Fast‑paced and drenched in tension\, it hurtles through a world where snap judgements turn lethal and rejection becomes a force of its own. \nPerformed by a ferocious cast of young performers\, this production never slows to catch its breath. Scenes snap by with cinematic intensity\, driven by an urgent\, propulsive score\, sharp jump scares and bold theatrical set pieces that keep audiences on edge. \nWritten by Victoria Gimby (Writer)\, Jimmy Jewell (Composer) and Nick Stimson (Lyricist)\, this adaptation exposes the violence of judgment itself. \nRelentless and unsettling\, Frankenstein is a gripping theatrical experience that leaves no room to look away.
