DESCRIPTION:Glór Nua is a monthly night of new music from emerging London and Irish artists\, hosted by singer/songwriter and Poet Ruby K. \n\n\n\nThis month we are hosting the critically acclaimed Irish Rapper; Celaviedmai! \n\n\n\nJoining her will be critically acclaimed Punk Alt-Hiphop icons of the underground music scene: Retropxssy and JoeJas! \n\n\n\nGlór Nua roughly translates as “New Voices” in Irish Gaelic. \n\n\n\nWe provide a platform for various new artists to perform and be discovered alongside live performances from established acts. Uniting talented contemporary musical artists from London and Ireland and immersing audiences in the sounds that keep the city and the emerald isle moving and grooving. \n\n\n\nGlór Nua is open to acts from all music genres\, cultures and backgrounds\, celebrating diverse styles and personalities. Our lineups feature exciting emerging artists and Irish artists with more established followings. \n\n\n\nWe know that people and musical self-expression come in all shapes and sizes and can’t always be put in a box\, so why would we? Instead\, we are putting it on stage here at the ICC.

DESCRIPTION:The Music for Youth Proms are back for a two-day musical extravaganza. Two special evening concerts will bring 3\,000 young musicians from across the country back together for a spectacular concert like no other: full-scale symphony orchestras are showcased alongside some of the best young jazz bands\, chamber groups\, bands and singer-songwriters from across the UK; and a unique specially produced Massed Ensemble of over 400 musicians. \nThe Proms will feature a collaborative project for up to 2\,000 young people led by Music for Youth Music Mentor\, Adey Grummet and composed by celebrated musical director and composer Michael Henry\, with performances to support and encourage young musicians and music educators. There will be surprise guests and presenters and young people taking part in technical and backstage roles. \nThis is a not-to-be-missed musical celebration for anyone that loves music.
