Take on our annual 5km Doko Challenge South.\n\n\n\nThis unique event sees participants running in the footsteps of the ‘Bravest of the Brave’.  Based on a pivotal part of the Gurkha selection process\, we challenge you to take on a 5km cross-country course through Wimbledon Common with a weighted Nepali Doko basket strapped to your back.  A hugely popular event that always attracts a fantastic turnout from our supporters\, serving Gurkhas\, and military participants alike! \nYou can choose a weight for your Doko basket of 5kg\, 10kg or 15kg\, and can run\, jog\, or walk the route.  Those looking to push themselves can aim to beat the Gurkha recruitment time of 46 minutes\, or even the course record of 19 minutes 30 seconds!

Using historical records to reconstruct the race\, the film sets straight events that have been reinterpreted by the political ideologies of the past\, creating a captivating thriller set against a backdrop of beautiful mountain panoramas where national rivalries are set aside in a race to save a fellow human life. \nFollowed by Q&A with director TOMÁŠ HODAN \nThe movie is part of the 26th Made in Prague Festival organised by Czech Centre London.
