Taking over Waterloo’s immersive venue\, Aures\, expect pure House music magic all night long..going deeper through the speakers. \nJihad Muhammad connects the dots between New York’s golden age of DJs\, remixing\, and clubs and today’s modern afro-soul-deep dance floor. Early on\, he was inspired by Master Mixers Shep Pettibone and Tony Humphries. Jihad further honed his DJ skills with Larry Levan\, Timmy Regisford\, and Merlin Bobb. \nProviding a multi-coloured landscape of styles within the soulful house music diaspora to “hungry” House music audiences worldwide\, Jihad is always pushing the boundaries of complacency\, injecting a unique blend of grooves\, afro electro sensibilities and vocal soul. His sets are applauded for their distinctive style and grace\, exemplified in his 300+ remixes and original productions. \nHis popular Bang The Drum residency catapulted him onto the International stage\, and he has since spread his musical message to clubs such as Paris’ Djoon party\, Southport Weekender and Househead LDN\, Italy\, South Africa\, Japan and Canada.
