One worthy cause: The Children of Gaza \nJoin us as we host a local fundraiser for the global and moral disaster that is the situation in Gaza. In this event\, we will be raising funds for the charity War Child\, with every penny raised targeted to their efforts on the ground to support Palestinian children in Gaza (and the West Bank). \nUpstairs- “The Big Little Jam Show” \nFull live music show featuring many styles and artists. From Blues and Rock to Reggae\, Soul\, R&B\, Hip Hop\, Punk and Spoken Word. \nExpect entertaining\, moving performances and some exciting jams from a line-up which includes: \nLouisa Cole (your MC)\, Ashish Dyola\, Four Days Gone\, Meg Lee Chin\, Peyton & Craig\, Pine Gardens\, Bella Krantz\, Jonny D\, BeatzMyk & Friends\, Delaboss\, Shane Kelly\, with more artists and groups to be announced. \nGet ready to add your own voice to the mix and stick around for the late-night jam where things get really creative! \n  \nDownstairs: “K2K” – Curated by DJs Max Power and Caren Can Can \nFunky vibes and serious dance floor pressure from our collaborators K2K. DJs on rotation will be serving up the best in: \n\nAmapiano\, Afrobeat\,\nR&B\, Disco\, House\,\nDrum & Bass\,\nRoots Reggae\,\nDancehall (90’s to present) and all manner of funky grooves to get you “going”.\n\n  \nThe Acoustic (Beer) Garden \nJoin a range of artists performing and collaborating in our outdoor sessions\, with a more acoustic vibe. DESCRIPTION:Hindus for Human Rights UK (HfHR UK) and Indian Dancers for Gaza’s Children (IDGC) invite you to join us from 14:30 to socialise and enjoy soft and alcoholic drinks of your choice at the onsite café. \nThe event will begin promptly at 14:45. Our Director Rajiv Sinha will greet everyone with some introductory words. \nThen the incredible Aranyani Bhargav\, over briefly from India\, will perform her creation\, Lori\, a dance conceptualised as part of the campaign of IDGC\, launched in May 2024 by Aranyani and South African scholar of Indian dance Donovan Roebert. \nThis will be followed by an opportunity for the audience to speak directly with Aranyani\, and then by a panel discussion about Palestine and what more we can do. \nThis event is disability accessible. \nTickets- https://www.oxfordhouse.org.uk/event/lori-a-lullaby-for-humanity/
