SUMMARY:Adopt a plant from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at the Wayward Plants Reuse Centre!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free event celebrating the launch of the Wayward Plants Reuse Centre. The day will feature family activities\, food\, talks\, plant giveaways and hands-on workshops in making\, growing and building\, from nature play dens to DIY solar panels. In the evening\, we’ll gather for a Summer Solstice celebration with a communal meal and creative activities. \nLocated at the heart of Cultivate Colindale\, a new green-space hub for community growing and the circular economy\, the reuse centre will give plants\, trees and materials a second life while supporting local growing projects and community participation. Come and see what we’re building and adopt a plant from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to take home – while stocks last! \nAs the Official Reuse Partner of the RHS\, Wayward Plants has redistributed more than 100\,000 plants and trees to a network of nearly 2\,000 community groups and schools across London. Now we’re opening a dedicated home for landscape reuse\, rescue and redistribution in Colindale. \nFor the full (evolving) programme\, visit: waywardplants.org/events

SUMMARY:Community bulb planting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a hands-on bulb planting workshop at Fulham Palace led by head gardener Lucy Hart! \nWe’re inviting you to a family-friendly garden workshop to celebrate the new Fulham Palace greenhouse funded by the Kusama Trust. Enjoy a hands-on gardening workshop as we plant the pots around the new greenhouse in the Palace’s beautiful walled garden. \nUnder head gardener Lucy Hart’s guidance\, you’ll learn the art of layering spring bulbs to ensure a stunning\, multi-layered bloom when the season turns. You’ll also help plant autumn and winter displays\, adding vibrant colour and texture to the garden throughout the colder months. \nTogether\, our hard work will transform the garden\, and when spring arrives\, you’ll be able to return and admire the bulbs you helped plant burst into full bloom. \nAll proceeds from this event will go towards the greenhouse fundraising appeal\, allowing the Palace to cultivate a vibrant hub for environmental education and community engagement in the heart of our historic walled garden.
