The bird winters in Africa but spends April to July mating and nesting in Europe and the Middle East. Worldwide\, the population is healthy\, but the numbers visiting England have declined so sharply that it is now on the UK’s Red List of species of the greatest conservation concern.

DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, CityDays is opening up one of their large-scale free-roam games to the public. Players will receive a digital map of London dotted with challenges that can only be solved on the day and from the city streets. \n\n\n\nOn Sunday 25th June 23\, teams will gather at Piccadilly Circus ready for a 2-hour race across the city. At 3 pm\, teams will set off en masse to complete as many challenges as possible and make it to the finish zone before time runs out. Here\, grab a snack or drink and share your experience with competing teams. A mystery prize will be gifted to the team that tops the leaderboard. \n\n\n\nExpect confounding riddles\, bizarre architecture\, historic sculptures\, silly photo challenges and some of the city’s best and most surprising hidden gems. The game will be hosted on our app but will take place in real-life streets\, squares\, parks and passageways. \n\n\n\nTeams should be made up of 2-5 people. Children can accompany adults free of charge. The game is fun for both locals and visitors alike. Hints are available to help with tricky clues but beware. These come at a point cost. So make sure you and your families have Thursday\, 26th October\, firmly in your diaries.  \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome to play or learn how to play some incredibly fun board games this half-term holiday. We will have games that children and teens from 5 – 15 will enjoy\, plus demonstrators to show everyone how it is all done.  \n\n\n\nAnd who better to team up with than the well-known games café – Draughts in Waterloo\, London\, who are all about board games and having fun? Families can book into a three-hour slot with those all-important\, professional games demonstrators who will make the rules simple and the game play exhilarating – the perfect solution for the half-term slump\, parents – we got you! \n\n\n\nFamous games like Dobble\, Dobble Connect\, Taco\, Cat\, Goat\, Cheese\, Pizza and Bananagrams will feature in the day alongside Christmas hot list games such as Bunny Hops!\, Pass the Bomb\, and Toodles – there is something for everyone. \n\n\n\nOn the day\, donations are encouraged\, with every penny going to the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust (https://www.ellenmacarthurcancertrust.org/) to inspire young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer. With a presentation by journalist and photographer Pavel Dobrovský\, a leading Czech expert on the gaming industry. \n  \nJoin the Private View of the exhibition project Infinite Universes – Czech Games and Their Global Success\, which introduces the contemporary Czech gaming industry in all its complexity. While showcasing individual games\, the exhibition also presents the creative process behind the game-making with a focus on selected elements that define individual studios and their approaches to chosen themes\, as well as the games’ educational and artistic value.  \nThe selection of exhibits curated by Miroslav Žák\, founder of Visiongame\, focuses on audio-visual qualities of the games as well as their relationship to Czech culture and history. Czech video games often reflect the Czech tradition of authorial animation. They excel in unique solutions for their inner structures\, incorporating audio design\, and in the way they work with stories\, including many social themes. Moreover\, video games developed in Czechia gain international recognition and awards for their creative approaches\, inspiring messages\, artistic qualities\, and educational characteristics. Czechia is home to more than 130 developer companies\, employing over 2000 people. New specialised university programmes are being made\, schools\, incubators\, or accelerators\, pushing the whole industry forward. \n  \nWhat can you expect?\nAt the exhibition the visitors will be able to play a great selection of Czech video games on one of our four gaming stations\, sit back and listen to the music from the video games by Czech and international composers on vinyl\, immerse themselves in the fascinating world of video graphic art\, explore figures and toys featuring characters from the games and watch one of the characters being printed on a 3D printer. \nComplimentary drinks will be provided. \n  \nThe exhibition will be on until 31st August.
