Proceeds from the concert will go to The Gurkha Welfare Trust\, helping us to support Gurkha veterans and widows in Nepal. \nCelebrate the festive season with friends and family by singing your favourite carols at our Carols by Candlelight event in the beautiful setting of St Marylebone Parish Church in the heart of London. \nThe concert will include classic carols\, some beautiful choral pieces\, professional performances and festive readings. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season – Carols by Candlelight. \nIt has always been a star-studded evening and this year we have BBC’s Lyse Doucet CM OBE and our wonderful Patrons\, Timothy West CBE and Lord Cope of Berkeley PC have promised to be with us\, with special Guest Appearance from Bibi Heal and Stephen Barlow. \nWe are also delighted that Thames Fanfare Brass will once again be raising the roof. What would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?! \nThe angelic voices of the Queen’s Gate School Choirs will fill the church with gorgeous songs\, together with wonderful harp music by Lesley Magee\, and there will\, of course\, be plenty of favourite Christmas Carols too for you to join in with! \nThe concert will begin at 7.00pm and will be followed by Mulled Wine & Mince Pies (included in your ticket). \nThis year\, more than ever\, our hearts and thoughts go out to the forgotten families of Darfur. \nKids for Kids is the only organisation helping the forgotten children in the rural villages of Darfur\, Sudan. Our concert will raise emergency funds for struggling families and children. We are not an emergency aid organisation but in desperate times we will not turn our backs on the people who need us the most. \nPlease help us make this year’s magical Candlelit Christmas Concert the most successful ever and let’s work together to make 2025 a brighter year for the people of Darfur!

Every penny raised in profit will help Kids for Kids provide essentials to Darfur children in desperate need. The violence over the past 23 months has been far worse than anything we have experienced over the years. Darfur continues to face bitter conflict\, and the indirect effects of violence are almost worse: disease\, starvation and hunger in this century. We provide sacks of seed for planting and Kids’ Kitchen Kits for families with small children\, including pulses\, lentils\, powdered meat\, ground nuts and even fresh produce. Children have been deprived of protein for months. By attending our Candlelit Christmas Concert\, you will enable us to reach many more families. They need you\, need us\, right now. \nThe concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be followed by Mulled Wine and Mince Pies (included in your ticket). It’s the perfect way to start Christmas Carols by Candlelight.

DESCRIPTION:Join HARAYA CHOIR as we warm up the atmosphere and bring yuletide cheer this holiday season. Haraya Choir presents: Christmas Classics – A Festive Concert Tour. With 4 shows coming up on the 6th\, 12th\, 14th and the 20th of December in various churches / venues across London\, we aim to celebrate a “Holly Jolly” Christmas celebration through music and community building. Three of these shows are organised for the benefit of The Sacred Heart Church (Kilburn)\, St. Pius X Church (Ladbroke Grove) and St. Dominic’s Priory (Southampton Road) to aid in their repairs and upkeep. \nHaraya Choir is a British – Filipino Chorale based in London and was officially formed in 2017 in a sold out debut concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. Haraya means “imagination” or “vision” in Tagalog. Haraya won Grand Prize at the Manchester Amateur Choir Competition in 2020\,  1st prizes at the North Wales Choir Festival (Pop and Mixed Choir categories) in 2022\, and the Peter Carpenter Cup in Bournemouth in May 2025.  Having different professions and backgrounds with singers mostly nurses and staff from the NHS/healthcare sector (BARTS Health\, UCLH\, Chelsea and Westminster\, Kings College Hospital\, Luton and Dunstable\, and Cromwell Hospital) and other members from social care\, hospitality and finance sectors\, the members are unified through their shared passion for singing and musical excellence.

DESCRIPTION:The Spirit of Christmas” \nSouthend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs perform \nBritten’s “Ceremony of Carols” with harp accompaniment. \nThe concert will also include music by John Rutter\, Adolphe Adam\, Bob Chilcott\, seasonal music\, festive favourites and audience carols\, all accompanied by the Southend Concert Orchestra. \nJoin the Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs performing Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” with harp accompaniment. The concert will also include music by Chilcott\, Rutter\, festive favourites and Christmas carols performed by the choirs and chamber orchestra. \nThe Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs perform regularly in London’s major churches and concert halls\, including Royal Albert Hall\, Royal Festival Hall\, Barbican\, St Martin in the Fields and St John’s Smith Square. They have appeared in the BBC Proms concerts on many occasions\, in addition to working with professional orchestras and ensembles\, including Philharmonia\, RPO\, BBC Symphony Orchestra\, BBC Concert Orchestra and Locrian Ensemble. The choirs overseas tours have included performing in Sydney Opera House\, Queensland Performing Arts Centre\, St Mark’s Venice\, St Peter’s Rome and cathedrals across Europe\, US\, Canada\, Australia and Hong Kong.
