DESCRIPTION:The world’s largest cleft charity\, Smile Train\, is excited to announce that after two years of virtual carol singing\, it will be returning to an in-person event to kickstart the festive season – and everyone is invited! \nOn Thursday 8th December at 7pm\, Smile Train will be hosting ‘The Big Smile Carol Concert’ at The Grosvenor Chapel in Mayfair\, London\, as seen in the classic Christmas film\, Love Actually. \nThe concert will feature festive performances from the Choir of Grosvenor Chapel for guests to sing along to\, and seasonal messages from the Smile Train UK team\, including Smile Train UK Director\, Ian Vallance. \nAlong with the carols\, there will also be special virtual performances by Smile Train children’s choirs from around the world. Smile Train Choirs form part of our speech therapy aftercare programme but have grown into so much more. Our Choirs provide a place where cleft-affected children thrive and are given the confidence to use their voice and speak up. When a child who once struggled to speak is empowered to sing in public\, they soon come to believe they can achieve anything. Smile Train Choirs from Columbia and Argentina will be singing their hearts out for ‘The Big Smile Carol Concert’. \nBut wait\, there’s myrrh! Refreshments – including mulled wine and mince pies – will be available for guests to enjoy. \nThe concert is free to attend\, but any donations generously given on the night will allow Smile Train to continue providing free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children born with cleft globally – and help them to continue to change the world one smile at a time. \nThe Big Smile Carol Concert will be taking place on 8th December 2022\, 7pm – 9pm. \nTo RSVP\, visit: smiletrain.org.uk/carols

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Annual Candlelit Christmas Concert on Thursday 5th December 2024! Once again our Candlelit Concert will be held at St Peter’s Church in Eaton Square\, London. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season – Carols by Candlelight. \nIt has always been a star-studded evening and this year we have BBC’s Lyse Doucet CM OBE and our wonderful Patrons\, Timothy West CBE and Lord Cope of Berkeley PC have promised to be with us\, with special Guest Appearance from Bibi Heal and Stephen Barlow. \nWe are also delighted that Thames Fanfare Brass will once again be raising the roof. What would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?! \nThe angelic voices of the Queen’s Gate School Choirs will fill the church with gorgeous songs\, together with wonderful harp music by Lesley Magee\, and there will\, of course\, be plenty of favourite Christmas Carols too for you to join in with! \nThe concert will begin at 7.00pm and will be followed by Mulled Wine & Mince Pies (included in your ticket). \nThis year\, more than ever\, our hearts and thoughts go out to the forgotten families of Darfur. \nKids for Kids is the only organisation helping the forgotten children in the rural villages of Darfur\, Sudan. Our concert will raise emergency funds for struggling families and children. We are not an emergency aid organisation but in desperate times we will not turn our backs on the people who need us the most. \nPlease help us make this year’s magical Candlelit Christmas Concert the most successful ever and let’s work together to make 2025 a brighter year for the people of Darfur!

With 4 shows coming up on the 6th\, 12th\, 14th and the 20th of December in various churches / venues across London\, we aim to celebrate a “Holly Jolly” Christmas celebration through music and community building. Three of these shows are organised for the benefit of The Sacred Heart Church (Kilburn)\, St. Pius X Church (Ladbroke Grove) and St. Dominic’s Priory (Southampton Road) to aid in their repairs and upkeep. \nHaraya Choir is a British – Filipino Chorale based in London and was officially formed in 2017 in a sold out debut concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. Haraya means “imagination” or “vision” in Tagalog. Haraya won Grand Prize at the Manchester Amateur Choir Competition in 2020\,  1st prizes at the North Wales Choir Festival (Pop and Mixed Choir categories) in 2022\, and the Peter Carpenter Cup in Bournemouth in May 2025.  Having different professions and backgrounds with singers mostly nurses and staff from the NHS/healthcare sector (BARTS Health\, UCLH\, Chelsea and Westminster\, Kings College Hospital\, Luton and Dunstable\, and Cromwell Hospital) and other members from social care\, hospitality and finance sectors\, the members are unified through their shared passion for singing and musical excellence.

SUMMARY:CHRISTMAS CLASSICS at St. Dominic's Priory
DESCRIPTION:Join HARAYA CHOIR as we warm up the atmosphere and bring yuletide cheer this holiday season. Haraya Choir presents: Christmas Classics – A Festive Concert Tour. With 4 shows coming up on the 6th\, 12th\, 14th and the 20th of December in various churches / venues across London\, we aim to celebrate a “Holly Jolly” Christmas celebration through music and community building. Three of these shows are organised for the benefit of The Sacred Heart Church (Kilburn)\, St. Pius X Church (Ladbroke Grove) and St. Dominic’s Priory (Southampton Road) to aid in their repairs and upkeep. \nHaraya Choir is a British – Filipino Chorale based in London and was officially formed in 2017 in a sold out debut concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. Haraya means “imagination” or “vision” in Tagalog. Haraya won Grand Prize at the Manchester Amateur Choir Competition in 2020\,  1st prizes at the North Wales Choir Festival (Pop and Mixed Choir categories) in 2022\, and the Peter Carpenter Cup in Bournemouth in May 2025.  Having different professions and backgrounds with singers mostly nurses and staff from the NHS/healthcare sector (BARTS Health\, UCLH\, Chelsea and Westminster\, Kings College Hospital\, Luton and Dunstable\, and Cromwell Hospital) and other members from social care\, hospitality and finance sectors\, the members are unified through their shared passion for singing and musical excellence.
