SUMMARY:Blink
DESCRIPTION:Blink is a story about seeing and being seen. About watching and being watched. And about love. After a series of uncanny coincidences\, Sophie mails Jonah a baby monitor connected to her flat. And he starts to watch her. Blink is a bittersweet rom-com for the digital age. \nBlink stars Broadway World award-winner\, actress and playwright Abigail Thorn\, creator of Philosophy Tube\, and who recently featured in HBO’S Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon and Star Wars: The Acolyte. \nBlink marks director Simon Paris’ second collaboration with Thorn. \nBruntwood Prize winner Phil Porter’s Blink is a two-hander that explores themes of seeing and being seen\, updated for an age of livestreams\, video doorbells\, and online stalking. \nThis new take on Blink is produced by Metal Rabbit Productions (Boy Parts\, Radiant Vermin\, Cuckoo\, Soho Theatre; The Prince\, Southwark Playhouse; The Misandrist\, Arcola Theatre; We’re Staying Right Here\, Park Theatre) and directed by Simon Paris (…Earnest? Edinburgh Fringe & UK Tour). \nBlink runs from 19 Feb – 22 Mar. Further casting to be announced.

SUMMARY:Noisy World - Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:With simple line drawings of ordinary objects and mundane moments\, Perfect outlines an alternative vision to the competitive pursuit of perfectionism in modern society. \nAs though retrieved from a surreal flower press\, people\, plants and vessels are presented flattened and slightly out of shape; multiple minimalist selves cross architectural and art historical references; impressions of unrelated scenes captured on paper. \nWith each drawing a gentle act of rebellion\, against colour theory and perspective\, against hierarchies between foreground and background\, humans and things\, Noisy World celebrates the humane and humorous aspects of everyday life. \nGallery opening hours:\nSaturdays 10 am – 4 pm\nSundays 12 noon – 4 pm

SUMMARY:Exhibition Through Her Eyes
DESCRIPTION:Anna Kiparis\, Tatiana Fetisova\, and Olga Bonitas in the exhibition Through Her Eyes \nThe Kult Talk hosts the exhibition Through Her Eyes\, featuring three artists whose work is informed by lived experience and expressed in individual visual languages. The exhibition explores the translation of lived experience: motherhood\, play\, and the search for inner harmony – into visual language\, color\, and symbolization in a nuanced exploration of the self in the present day. \nAnna Kiparis‘ painting style can be described as a system of play. In her works like The Piece\, Panopticon and Carousel\, and Carousel\, Anna Kiparis creates her own framework using elements of games like chess\, cards\, and circular movements. The cow is an element that can be found in all of Anna Kiparis’ works\, both as an element that participates in the game and as an element that observes the game. \nTatiana Fetisova‘s style can be described as “balloonized realism.” In her works like Balancing and Chasing the Air\, Tatiana combines elements of figurative painting with elements of inflated objects that serve both as metaphors for vision and emotion. \nWorks by Olga Bonitas are included in the exhibition from her series Watching Them Grow in watercolour: Tree Adventure\, High up above and Not Just a Tree. Informed by the lived experience of motherhood\, Bonitas’s work addresses the often-unnecessary tension between creative practice and motherhood. The works are created in a fragile but direct manner to prioritize the lived experience of motherhood from the margins to the center of creative practice. \nThe artists’ works can be described as three perspectives that connect with each other in terms of perception and experience. The artists’ works in this exhibition encourage viewers to look at the ways in which personal realities are constructed\, negotiated\, and re-imagined in contemporary art. \nMore information: http://thekulttalk.com/project/Through-Her-Eyes

SUMMARY:JEFF ROBB – CONJECTURES AND REFUTATIONS - Free Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Conjectures and Refutations by Jeff Robb at Cris Contini Contemporary London presents two innovative series: the titular body of work and Human Collage. The first series is inspired by Karl Popper and explores the idea of truth as provisional and constantly shifting. Through concentric circles and lenticular elements\, the works change according to the viewer’s position. Human Collage blends abstraction and realism using fragmented figures. The series reflects on the complexity of identity and human experience. \nJeff Robb – Conjectures and Refutations \n05 March – 11 April 2026 \nOpening Hours: \nTue-Sat: 10.00AM-6.00PM \nSun-Mon: by appointment only \nFree Entry

SUMMARY:The House - Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:IMT Gallery presents The House\, an exhibition of works by Tom Clark\, Guest-Host-Guest\, Harri Harrison\, Heiðdís Hólm\, Mark Rohtmaa-Jackson\, Anna Sebastian\, Kristina Stallvik and Suzanne Treister. It features work that all\, often through degrees of autobiography\, speaks to some of the discordances of being at home: perhaps the anticipation of order amidst the everyday; or an expectation of comfort\, often amidst insecurity or tension. \nThe exhibition is a place where we might live. Often\, when visitors come to this gallery\, they ask her if she lives here. They ask\, “Do you live here?” They ask\, “Are these your cats?” I lived here once too. I don’t anymore. This exhibition is about living somewhere. Perhaps it is about reaching for this thing. \nIn the words of Guest-Host-Guest: ‘Here\, the house is a metaphor for assumed belonging. A place we are expected to be ‘resolved’ or ‘satisfied’\, even when displacement\, precarity\, and contested ownership sit just beneath the surface.’ \nThe exhibition is a hand with a mirror in front of it. The mirror reflects some flowers or a field. Behind the hand is a sky. In front of the sky is a blank\, featureless wall. All these things at various distances from the camera. A cat; a home; a gallery; a municipality listed on a birth certificate (since burned). The house. \nCurating at Home: Making Personal Spaces of Creative Agency\nOnline Course with Dr Mark Rohtmaa-Jackson \nApril – May 2026 \nOrganised to coincide with The House\, join us for a four-session online course exploring how we live with art\, and how the art we live with shapes the way we live. \nHeld fortnightly\, Curating at Home: Making Personal Spaces of Creative Agency invites you to look closely at the rooms\, objects\, and artworks that surround you. Drawing on art practices\, histories\, philosophy\, exhibition-making\, and practices of everyday attention\, we will explore how meaning is shaped through arrangement\, context\, and the lived rhythms of domestic space. \nLed by artist\, educator\, and curator Dr Mark Rohtmaa-Jackson and hosted by IMT Gallery\, each session brings together case studies\, creative exercises\, and guided activities designed to help you think with and through your own environment. \nPlaces are limited — the course begins 12 April. Click here for full course detail \n_ \nPictured: Anna Sebastian\, detail of ‘Esalon’ (2024)\, oil on canvas\, 100 x 100cm \nSuzanne Treister is represented by Annely Juda Fine Art\, London\, P.P.O.W\, New York and The Ryder\, Madrid.

SUMMARY:Journey of Light
DESCRIPTION:Journey of Light is a solo exhibition of recent works by London-based artist Özlem Sorlu Thompson\, whose vibrant paintings embody the Mediterranean sun of her native Turkey. \n  \nThe centrepiece of the show was directly inspired by a recent visit to Şeytan Sofrası\, a volcanic hilltop on the Aegean coast known for a mythical lava pond that\, according to legend\, marks the spot where the devil left his footprint as he was expelled from heaven. \n  \nWhat started as a sketch on a small canvas grew into a polyptych and the artist’s largest painting to date. As each section blends into the next and layers of imaginary florals cover the dreamlike landscape\, Thompson takes us on a visual journey that merges ancient folklore with hopes for the future. \n  \nInitially approaching flora and fauna\, and exotic plants in particular\, with scientific curiosity\, Thompson’s art is guided by intuition and an interest in the less tangible qualities\, expressing her love for nature. Carrying the sun within them\, her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in collections as far afield as Dubai and the Americas. \n  \nJourney of Light marks the tenth anniversary of Özlem Sorlu Thompson’s move to North London and serves as a symbolic link between her motherland and her chosen home.

SUMMARY:“... AND WE HIRED A BLOKE TO FIX THE WALL”
DESCRIPTION:ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to present “…and we hired a bloke to fix the wall”\, a solo exhibition by Italian street artist Beast\, curated by Luca Curci\, on view in London from March 13 until 21 March 2026 at ELEMENTS Contemporary Art Space\, in London. \nThe exhibition brings together a selection of works from Beast’s most recent series\, exploring the relationship between memory\, history\, and the physical traces of time embedded in urban surfaces. Active since 2009\, Beast has realised over 200 urban installations across more than 40 cities in Europe\, the United States and Japan. His early practice focused on political and social themes\, often presented through satirical mash-ups of contemporary figures framed in gold and placed directly in public space. Over time\, his work expanded in scale\, moving towards large-format paste-ups and monumental interventions on abandoned buildings. \nThroughout this evolution\, the street has remained central to his practice\, conceived as an open and democratic space for artistic dialogue. In recent years\, Beast has turned his attention towards history and memory\, developing an ongoing body of work that places portraits of cultural figures on the walls of abandoned historical centres. These locations – often damaged\, neglected or left to decay – are not treated as neutral backdrops\, but as integral components of the work itself. \nThe series “…and we hired a bloke to fix the wall”\, which also gives its title to the exhibition\, presents portraits of influential figures from culture\, philosophy\, literature\, art and psychology. Among those featured are Carl Gustav Jung\, Philip Roth\, Jackson Pollock\, Albert Camus and Noam Chomsky. Rather than functioning as celebratory images\, these works present the subjects as enduring presences emerging from the material history of the places they inhabit. \nThe technique behind the works is central to their meaning. Each piece begins with the wall itself\, which is first photographed in detail. The texture of the surface—its cracks\, stains and signs of erosion – is digitally overlaid onto the portrait of the chosen subject. The resulting image is then printed and installed on the same wall\, aligning imperfections so that the figure appears to surface from within the architecture. Image and wall merge\, creating the impression that memory is embedded in the structure itself. The conceptual foundation of the series is inspired by a statement from historian Howard Zinn: “If you don’t know history\, it is as if you were born yesterday. And if you were born yesterday\, anybody up there in a position of power can tell you anything\, and you have no way of checking up on it.” \nFor Beast\, historical awareness represents a form of resistance against manipulation and collective amnesia. The title of the exhibition introduces a subtle but deliberate irony. “…and we hired a bloke to fix the wall” evokes the idea of a practical solution to decay\, suggesting that damage can simply be repaired or concealed. In contrast\, Beast exposes the wall rather than fixing it\, treating cracks and erosion as carriers of meaning rather than flaws to be corrected. Installed within the gallery space\, the works retain their connection to the street and to the abandoned environments from which they originate. Fragile and materially charged\, they invite reflection on the relationship between physical decay and intellectual endurance\, and on the role of memory in shaping our understanding of the present. \nOPENING\nMarch 13\, 2026 | 06:00 PM\nELEMENTS Contemporary Art Space\n253 Hoxton Street\, N1 5LG\, London\, UK\nOpening hours | Tuesday – Saturday. 11:00 AM – 05:00 PM \nRSVP\ninfo@itsliquid.com\nClick here to register for the event (free entry)

SUMMARY:Jeremy Jeffs – Lives We Cannot Live
DESCRIPTION:Documentary film maker and photographer Jeremy Jeffs spent three years photographing and interviewing people with ME in their homes. Lives We Cannot Live reveals the hidden reality of living with the condition. \nCurated by Sebah Chaudhry and supported by the ME Association\, the exhibition sets out to bring visibility to a hidden and neglected community and encompasses environmental portraits\, collaged with diary notes and personal memories of before being ill\, selected from more than 50 cases. \nDiagnosed with ME as a teenager\, Jeffs shares the lived experiences of his sitters and captures an intimate side of life rarely witnessed even by close friends. Hidden symptoms mixed with a general lack of awareness make this a doubly invisible and isolating disease. \n“I started this project out of frustration and anger because in the almost four decades since my diagnosis nothing has really changed. We still don’t know much about ME\, there’s still a lack of proper funding for research\, no clear treatment\, and worse\, there’s still widespread misunderstanding about the illness\, even among some healthcare professionals.” \nAround 400\,000 people in the UK have this debilitating and as yet incurable illness. Symptoms include profound fatigue\, sleep disturbance\, post-exertional malaise\, cognitive difficulties and a range of other symptoms like pain\, headaches\, nausea and intolerance to lights and noise. \nLives We Cannot Live is the first large scale project to focus on ME and precedes the publication of a photo book with Fistful of Books later this year.

SUMMARY:Maggie Roberts | Sheer Presence: While They Are Here…
DESCRIPTION:IMT Gallery is proud to present Sheer Presence: While They Are Here…\, a solo exhibition by multimedia artist Maggie Roberts\, exploring presence as a transformative force through watercolour paintings\, digital collage\, textiles and video. Responding directly to the ongoing ecological collapse\, violent destruction\, and the pervasive sense of uncertainty\, Sheer Presence acts as a cosmopolitical manifestation tool—a profound call to remain awake\, intentional\, and attuned to unseen forces shaping our shared reality. \nDrawing inspiration from Blaise Agüera y Arcas’ recent book What Is Life? Evolution as Computation (MIT Press\, 2025)\, the exhibition explores Sheer Presence as the distinct intrusion of another entity— often animal or virtual—disrupting the human order. Echoing the 8th-century Tibetan Buddhist Tattvasangraha text (verses 2892-2893)\, Roberts emphasises presence as the fundamental ability of an entity to profoundly influence and alter its environment\, reshaping perceptions and expanding experiences of reality. \nAt the heart of the exhibition is an ancient manifestation grid\, activated through six thematic “nodes”: ancestors><power; the invisibles><universe of multiple dimensions; crystal light><purpose; clarity><silent focus; creativity><collective imagination; and abundance><manifesting change. Each node directly addresses contemporary feelings of disconnection\, fragmentation\, overwhelming distraction\, and destabilisation\, offering pathways for healing\, imagination\, and renewal. \nRoberts invites visitors to follow Lines of Intention across this geometric terrain—a multi- dimensional map designed to reconnect with deep time\, invisible agents\, and ancestral wisdom. The sacred geometry that underpins manifestation practices\, is believed to align personal intentions with broader universal energies. At its centre sits the octopus\, Roberts’ Avatar of Manifestation\, representing fluidity\, adaptability\, distributed intelligence and the authentic self. \nWithin the images\, crystals and hagstones (naturally perforated stones shaped over millennia by ocean movement) serve as portals. Linked to folklore\, protection\, and divination\, hagstones reveal hidden truths\, amplifying the exhibition’s resonance with multidimensional frequencies\, agents and stories to foster the power of the imagination to bring change. \nABOUT MAGGIE ROBERTS \n\n\nMaggie Roberts has explored the boundaries of machine and human vision throughout her career\, exhibiting as a solo artist and as the collaborative artist 0rphan Drift (which she co-founded in London with Ranu Mukherjee in 1994). The work is increasingly underpinned by ecological issues and concerns entanglements of human\, technology and the wider biosphere as part of a process of co-evolution. 0rphan Drift employs various media – video\, 3D animation\, sound\, performance\, installation\, and text – particularly speculative experimental fiction. In recent years they have been considering artificial intelligence through the somatic tendencies of an octopus – as a distributed\, many minded consciousness\, manifesting in If AI Were Cephalopod at Telematic Gallery\, San Francisco\, her IMT Gallery Becoming Octopus Meditations\, ISCRI (partnered by the Serpentine Gallery’s AI Lab) and the current 0rphan Drift 9 Brains project. Their installations\, performances and speculative fictions have been exhibited nationally and internationally in gallery and museum spaces for over three decades. Other recent exhibitions include May the Other Live in Me\, Laboratoria Art Science\, Moscow; Still I Rise: Gender\, Feminisms and Resistance\, Nottingham Contemporary\, Nottingham; Matter Fictions\, Berardo Museum\, Lisbon; Speculative Fictions\, PDX Contemporary\, Portland; Eat Code and Die\, Lomex Gallery\, New York\, and in the book Fictioning: The Myth-Functions of Contemporary Art and Philosophy\, by David Burrows and Simon O’Sullivan. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRecent publications include Aqueous Humours\, Fluid Ground (Ed. Kirsten Cooke and Melanie Jackson\, pub. Matt’s Gallery); Serpentine Gallery’s Future Art Ecosystems 4; OctoGANN a Fiction (Creative Practice Journal); Hydrofeminist Thinking with Oceans (Routledge Press) and Pattern and Texture as Communication (Radical Matter Journal). \nRoberts teaches Fine Art Critical Studies at Central St Martins\, UAL and also lectures at many other UK art schools\, and presents 0rphan Drift’s work at symposia internationally. She is represented by IMT Gallery.

SUMMARY:Sail to Hope – Solo Exhibition by Esra Kizir Gokcen
DESCRIPTION:With Sail to Hope\, Esra Kizir Gokcen presents her response to the far-reaching effects of globalisation. Born from human empathy rather than political drive\, her work questions the hierarchies that place humans above other life forms. \nIn paintings inspired by Eastern miniature art\, natural forces intermingle with crowds of abstract shapes and figures to represent the movements of people and cultures between past and present. Collaged paper boats folded from world maps symbolise the shared humanity of precarious passages too often reduced to numbers in news headlines. \nThe ubiquitous origami vessels also feature in a large-scale multi-media installation at the heart of the exhibition. These were co-created in workshops with diverse community groups. Participants christened each boat with a personal message of hope\, inspiring the exhibition title. A soundscape by Grammy-winning jazz saxophonist Tim Garland complements this collaborative work. \nThe artists have worked together since 2023\, when Garland commissioned Gokcen to create paintings for his orchestral work. Visuals for the current Moment of Departure tour constitute part of this exhibition. Tim Garland will play a selection from his current CD in several intimate concerts on both Saturdays. The afternoon performances will be followed by a Q&A with both artists who believe art can communicate positive messages and elevate the resilience of the human spirit. A selection of prints and posters are available in support of War Child. \nThe exhibition open times are as follows: \nMonday-Friday 12noon – 7pm\nSaturday 11am – 2pm\nSunday 12non – 4pm \nClick on the booking links for the music and art afternoons on 1 March and 8 March

SUMMARY:Gothic Opera presents: Die Rheinnixen
DESCRIPTION:Unconventional opera company Gothic Opera returns to Battersea Arts Centre this Halloween\, this time with the UK staged premiere of Die Rheinnixen (The Nixies of the Rhine)\, an unjustly neglected\, Romantic work by Jacques Offenbach. \nDie Rheinnixen\, which is Offenbach’s first take on grand opera\, encompasses the growing nationalism of its time\, as well as the genre’s fascination with the supernatural. Gothic Opera is delighted to be staging this horror story for the first time in the UK. \nIn the capable hands of the award-winning international stage director Max Hoehn\, the evocative crumbling architecture of Battersea Arts Centre’s Grand Hall will be transformed into the time of the Weimar Republic\, a period of nationalism and unease. \nIn a bold production that will speak to our current times\, Gothic Opera will be joined by exciting conductor Hannah von Wiehler\, who has a very busy career across Europe. Leon Haxby\, the young composer whose previous work for the company was praised in Opera magazine for its “haunting magic” and “compassionate insight\,” has created a new chamber orchestration of the opera for seven instruments. A cast of talented singers will bring the characters and story to life. \nDie Rheinnixen performance details:\n30th October\, 7.30pm\n31st October\, 7.30pm\n1st November\, 7.30pm\n2nd November\, 5.00pm \nSung in German with English surtitles.

SUMMARY:Fishwives
DESCRIPTION:Step right up for FISHWIVES—a riotous comedy cabaret that’s smutty\, feminist\, historical\, and dare we say\, hysterical. \nIf Chaucer had a potty-mouthed sister with a vendetta against the patriarchy\, this is the show she’d have made. Written in verse with the gleeful irreverence of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes\, Fishwives catapults the forgotten heroines of history onto centre stage—louder\, looser\, and far less ladylike than you remember. \nPenned and performed by seasoned comedy poet Abi Unwin-Smith (RCSSD)\, with a decade of live mischief under her belt\, this anarchic hour fuses poetry\, storytelling and movement with the high-energy chaos of vaudeville. Expect stripping suffragettes\, scandalous monarchs and the odd persecuted pudenda—no petticoat will be left unruffled. \nAfter a decade on the UK and Australian comedy and poetry circuits\, Fishwives now bursts forth as a full-throttle show: a bawdy mash-up of brains\, bosoms\, and belly laughs. In an age when women’s rights still hang precariously in the balance\, this show wields laughter as both weapon and salve. \nSo gird your loins\, ladies and gents. These lusty bawds have stories to tell—and it’s about bloody time we listened.
