Expect hints of rose petal that give way to sweet honey\, married with mandarin orange\, followed by fresh vanilla\, dried fruits and toasted almond. \n\n\n\nTeeling Wonders of Wood Series II\, Portuguese Oak – this whiskey has been fully matured in Virgin Portuguese Oak casks which are native to the Iberian Peninsula and boast a naturally higher tannin content than other variants. Experience its distinct savoury marmalade flavour with warming hints of tobacco and pepper\, unique to this whiskey. \n\n\n\nJapanese Cedarwood\, a limited edition single pot still Irish whiskey from Method & Madness. Initially matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks before being finished in Japanese cedarwood casks\, giving way to notes of caraway seeds\, jasmine tea\, cloves\, rich baking spice\, sweet\, aromatic wood and delicate peaches throughout the palate. \n\n\n\nGiven the exclusivity of each of the bottles\, this showcase is not to be missed by any whiskey lovers! SUMMARY:The Kraken ‘Espreso Artini’ Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The master of the dark arts (and darker rum)\, The Kraken\, is celebrating the launch of its first flavoured rum\, The Kraken Roast Coffee\, with the creation of the UK’s first-ever pop-up gallery that invites guests to drink the artworks on the show! \nOpening in London’s Greek Street\, Soho on 28th May with daytime viewing open to all (Midday – 6 pm) and ticketed opening party (7 pm-11 pm); the pop-up gallery will showcase bespoke Kraken artworks created in collaboration with the world-renowned comic artist Brian Williamson. Strictly limited to 100 hands numbered and signed ‘drinkable prints’\, the detailed illustrations will be brought to life on Espresso Rumtini cocktails\, thus transforming them into ‘Espresso Artinis’\, as well as being hung as more traditional forms of artwork in the gallery itself.\nUpon arrival\, guests will be given a gold coin which they can exchange for an Espresso Artini with an illustration of their choice atop the piece of printed edible art. Those who want to try out drawing their cocktail artworks will also have the chance to book in for a masterclass during the daytime with renowned coffee artist Ben Lewis in a designated ‘art room’ at the London gallery\, with each daring artist rewarded with a delicious drink at the end of their endeavours. \nSubverting the norms of a usual exhibition\, The Kraken’s Espresso Artini pop-up will [of course] play host to a full Kraken bar\, stocked with a range of cocktails created with The Kraken Roast Coffee and its signature cocktail – The Perfect Storm\, crafted with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum\, ginger beer and lime. The Kraken Roast Coffee (70cl\, 40% ABV) is a rich fusion of Spiced Caribbean Rum and fine Arabica Bean coffee. As a result\, it tastes as devilishly intense as one might suspect – craftily balancing the rich\, dark\, smooth taste of coffee with the original Kraken Black Spiced Rum spices. \nThe story goes that in an attempt to ward off an imminent Kraken attack\, those who occupy the shores of the High Seas and beyond have persisted with ancient and unavailing methods of hindering The Beast\, one being to harness the dark aroma of roast coffee in a futile attempt to deter him. As you’d expect\, even the most menacingly potent of Arabica Beans cannot stop one as mighty as The Kraken\, but at least it has resulted in this new and rich dark rum. One which is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.\nThe Kraken Espresso Artini Exhibition will be popping up at 59 Greek Street in London on 28th May. A limited number of tickets are available\, which can be booked here: https://the-kraken-artini.myshopify.com/. Each ticket costs £5 per person and will include entry\, an Espresso Artini and a taste of The Kraken Roast Coffee in two other cocktail forms.\nThe pop-up will then travel to Head of Steam in Birmingham on 8th June and Call Lane Social in Leeds on 9th June. Entry is free\, and guests can exchange a gold coin given upon arrival for an Espresso Artini featuring apiece of printed edible art on top. \nFor those unable to attend one of the pop-ups\, rum fans can also enter a competition to be in with the chance of winning a bespoke Kraken Roast Coffee Espresso Artini kit that includes everything one needs to re-create cocktail artworks at home. A few kits are available to win via The Beast’s online portal\, The League of Darkness; Brits can enter to win via this link. If chosen\, the equipment will be delivered to their home nationwide in June: https://www.theleagueofdarkness.co.uk/competitions/45.

SUMMARY:London Events - Live Music & Whiskey - Harrison Bar Kings Cross
DESCRIPTION:The Rhythm and Booze Project boys are back and ready to cause trouble in King’s Cross! Felipe and Paul are going to bring you a night full of whisky\, music\, and mischief. Even better\, they’ll be launching a brand new whisky to celebrate on the night. \nTaking place in the intimate basement of the Harrison bar\, this is a combination gig and whisky tasting\, featuring an OPEN WHISKY BAR (you read that right) boasting a large selection of premium Scottish single malts as well as other whiskies from around the world. The boys will be doing best as a gritty duo\, both as musicians and whisky professionals\, providing a thoroughly entertaining and unique show. \nThere are only limited spaces for this intimate and whisky-soaked event\, so book now! \nDoors open at 19:15\, the show kicks off at 19:30. \nHere’s their official bio: \nThe Rhythm and Booze Project feature Felipe and Paul\, a duo fusing live music and whisky through gigs\, tasting events\, and multimedia experiences. \nThe project was born during a 2012 pilgrimage to the whisky capital of Islay when Felipe and Paul played in bars and hotels in exchange for a meal\, a bed\, and healthy drams of whisky. \nRegular collaborations since then\, including tours in the UK\, United States\, and South America\, led to the creation of The Rhythm and Booze Project\, which combines Felipe’s and Paul’s extensive background as professional touring musicians\, event producers\, and passionate fans of whisky in all forms. \nAs a musical outfit\, the band incorporates roots\, folk\, and blues music in a uniquely gritty mix of its own\, blending hypnotic grooves with raucous energy and irresistible showmanship. \nFelipe and Paul merge performance\, live music\, and multi-sensory experiences for their whisky tasting events. Past projects encompass blues and whiskey tasting events for Islay’s Caol Ila distillery\, a tasting event series in Edinburgh that saw live music from local musicians alter the taste of whiskey itself\, and intimate masterclasses with Lagavulin’s distillery manager. \nWith five professional degrees between them\, Felipe and Paul have an academic background to match. Felipe wrote his Master’s degree thesis on sustainable distillation on Islay (conducting field interviews after Islay’s Feis Ile whisky festival). At the same time\, Paul has just completed his PhD in the history of jazz drumming and the drum kit in New Orleans. \nFelipe is also a leading writer about all aspects of whisky for top industry publications\, including distiller.com and scotchwhisky.com\, and writes about whisky for Forbes.com. \nDISCLAIMER: We’ll turn away anyone (with no refund) who shows up drunk or not in a fit state to appreciate the music and whisky.

SUMMARY:Nutcracker Extravaganza: The Classical Music Pod Live
DESCRIPTION:It’s a podcast….with live music…It’s the Classical Music Pod! Music\, chat\, and a splash of gin tasting. Presented by Classical PopUps at Stanley Halls\, come and dip in and out of not one\, but two versions of the Nutcracker. Presented by Classical PopUps. \nTo add to the excitement\, there will be the chance to sample Wardington’s Original Ludlow Dry Gin – the brand new edition\, in partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Flavoured with Seville orange and cassia\, the ‘Philharmonia Gin’ is the perfect tipple for a cosy December evening! \nIn the Christmas of 1960 Jazz titan Duke Ellington released an album unlike anything he had recorded before. ‘The Nutcracker Suite’ re-arranged Tchaikovsky’s festive spectacular into a swinging soundscape full of humour that blended classical and jazz\, dance halls and concert halls\, tradition and innovation. Join the players of Classical PopUps and hosts of The Classical Music Pod for an evening of live music and a deep dive into what made the original ballet and the jazz update such enduring hits. \nMusicians this evening include members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and players from some of the most dazzling West End shows. \nThe Classical Music Pod bills itself as ‘the best classical music podcast produced in a Brixton bedroom’\, though this claim remains unverified. Hosted by Timmy Fisher and Sam Poppleton\, the pod blends a deep passion for classical music with an equally strong affection for punnery\, silliness and trivia. \nSince its launch in 2019\, the pod has explained avant- garde serialism using chocolate selection boxes\, compiled book recommendations from some of the world’s greatest performers and interviewed David Lammy MP about his time singing alongside future Brexiteers. You can listen\, like and subscribe to the boys through all the usual podcast portals and follow them on Twitter @ClassicalPod. \nhttp://www.classicalpopups.com

Felipe and Paul will walk you through the selection\, teaching you about the whisky as well as laying down some blues music as the perfect soundtrack for the evening. \nThere are only limited spaces for this maritime* whisky-soaked event\, so book now! \nHere’s their official bio: \nThe Rhythm and Booze Project features Felipe and Paul\, a duo fusing live music and whisky through gigs\, tasting events\, and multimedia experiences. \nThe project was born during a 2012 pilgrimage to the whisky capital of Islay\, when Felipe and Paul played in bars and hotels in exchange for a meal\, a bed\, and healthy drams of whisky. \nFor their whisky tasting events\, Felipe and Paul merge performance\, live music\, and multi-sensory experiences. Past projects encompass blues and whisky tasting events for Islay’s Caol Ila distillery\, a tasting event series in Edinburgh that saw live music from local musicians actually alter the taste of whisky itself\, and intimate masterclasses with Lagavulin’s distillery manager. \nWith five professional degrees between them\, Felipe and Paul have an academic background to match. Felipe wrote his Masters degree thesis on sustainable distillation on Islay (conducting field interviews after Islay’s Feis Ile whisky festival)\, while Paul has just completed his PhD in the history of jazz drumming and the drum kit in New Orleans. \nFelipe is also a leading writer about all aspects of whisky for top industry publications including the websites distiller.com and scotchwhisky.com\, and also writes about whisky for Forbes.com. \nDISCLAIMER: We’ll turn away anyone (with no refund) who shows up drunk or not in a fit state to appreciate the music and whisky. You’ve been warned. \n*The official replica of it\, anyways. The original burned down. \n*The boat isn’t actually seaworthy\, or even in the water. It’s an amazing venue though.
