DESCRIPTION:Join HARAYA CHOIR as we warm up the atmosphere and bring yuletide cheer this holiday season. Haraya Choir presents: Christmas Classics – A Festive Concert Tour. With 4 shows coming up on the 6th\, 12th\, 14th and the 20th of December in various churches / venues across London\, we aim to celebrate a “Holly Jolly” Christmas celebration through music and community building. Three of these shows are organised for the benefit of The Sacred Heart Church (Kilburn)\, St. Pius X Church (Ladbroke Grove) and St. Dominic’s Priory (Southampton Road) to aid in their repairs and upkeep. \nHaraya Choir is a British – Filipino Chorale based in London and was officially formed in 2017 in a sold out debut concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. Haraya means “imagination” or “vision” in Tagalog. Haraya won Grand Prize at the Manchester Amateur Choir Competition in 2020\,  1st prizes at the North Wales Choir Festival (Pop and Mixed Choir categories) in 2022\, and the Peter Carpenter Cup in Bournemouth in May 2025.  Having different professions and backgrounds with singers mostly nurses and staff from the NHS/healthcare sector (BARTS Health\, UCLH\, Chelsea and Westminster\, Kings College Hospital\, Luton and Dunstable\, and Cromwell Hospital) and other members from social care\, hospitality and finance sectors\, the members are unified through their shared passion for singing and musical excellence.

With 4 shows coming up on the 6th\, 12th\, 14th and the 20th of December in various churches / venues across London\, we aim to celebrate a “Holly Jolly” Christmas celebration through music and community building. Three of these shows are organised for the benefit of The Sacred Heart Church (Kilburn)\, St. Pius X Church (Ladbroke Grove) and St. Dominic’s Priory (Southampton Road) to aid in their repairs and upkeep. \nHaraya Choir is a British – Filipino Chorale based in London and was officially formed in 2017 in a sold out debut concert at St. Peter’s Church in Notting Hill. Haraya means “imagination” or “vision” in Tagalog. Haraya won Grand Prize at the Manchester Amateur Choir Competition in 2020\,  1st prizes at the North Wales Choir Festival (Pop and Mixed Choir categories) in 2022\, and the Peter Carpenter Cup in Bournemouth in May 2025.  Having different professions and backgrounds with singers mostly nurses and staff from the NHS/healthcare sector (BARTS Health\, UCLH\, Chelsea and Westminster\, Kings College Hospital\, Luton and Dunstable\, and Cromwell Hospital) and other members from social care\, hospitality and finance sectors\, the members are unified through their shared passion for singing and musical excellence.

Probably written in the 1670s they were virtually unknown until their publication in 1905. DESCRIPTION:It doesn’t matter if you’re a running pro or prefer a gentle stroll\, everyone can take part in this festive 5k fun run – the emphasis is on the fun! \nJoin us at 11am\, Sunday 30 November in Crystal Palace Park (registration at 10am) \n \nThis is a great chance to come together with your local community whilst giving back. By getting active and spending time outdoors\, you’ll not only be boosting your own mental wellbeing but also raising vital funds for your local mental health and dementia services. \nFancy dress is not mandatory but the best dressed elves (or dogs) will get an optional spotlight on our social media and maybe even a prize!

Their sound was bold\, open-hearted\, and influential\, earning two Mercury Prize nominations and widespread acclaim. Since then\, Seb’s distinctive voice has been heard across a broad spectrum of music\, collaborating with artists including Patti Smith\, Damon Albarn\, Grace Jones and Brian Eno. This year\, he returns as a bandleader with Finding Ways\, layering up to three guitars at a time around his drums and bass\, the album featuring ten different guitarists. He’s joined by a remarkable set of collaborators and guests\, including Tara Cunningham\, David Preston\, Simon Tong\, Leo Abrahams\, Matt Hurley\, Adrian Utley\, John Parish\, Seye Adelekan\, Anders Christensen and Ruth Goller – each adding something unmistakably their own\, and it’s this space they’re given to be themselves that defines the sound.
