May 15th we welcome Sir Ian Botham
As names go they don’t get any bigger than this. What a treat to have Sir Ian ‘Beefy’ Botham. In what can only be described as a brilliant and colourful career both on and off the pitch.
The spearhead of the England pace attack in the 80’s, at the time the leading English wicket taker with 383 wickets and the man responsible for the ‘miracle of Headingly’ in 1981 and bringing home the Ashes that year. Not only was he a brilliant cricketer he has also raised millions for charity with his walk’s around the world and his personal time he dedicates for helping others. We are in for a truly great night and an event not to be missed.
The evening will include an interview with Sir Ian conducted by our MC and a Question and Answer session. You will have a chance for an autograph and a picture. We will be raising money for Halow on the night and will also hold a raffle as well as a running and main auction.
