The Lambeth Country Show
The Lambeth Country Show returns to Brockwell Park on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July 2017, boasting a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside. With over 170,000 people attending in 2016, the show is one of the biggest public events in the UK.
You can expect all the attractions of a traditional country show plus much more. Horticultural shows, sheep dog & owl displays, home grown vegetable and flower competitions, numerous craft & food stalls and a very own on site farm will be there for all to enjoy. All this will be on offer and more with a distinctively urban south London vibe.
Music always plays a big part to the show too featuring a mix of dub, afro-beat, disco, folk, ska and soul. Sunday will welcome back Roots Reggae Day to the Main Stage and our Village Green stage will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands.
Now in its 43rd year, the show is organised by EventLambeth and funded by Lambeth Council. This year’s show is supported using public funding by Arts Council England (ACE).
